Dr. Ruchira Garg, MD

Dr. Ruchira Garg specializes in cardiovascular disease, bringing nearly three decades of experience to her practice. She earned her medical degree from The Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed her residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2000. Dr. Garg pursued specialized fellowship training at both Nationwide Children's Hospital in 2003 and Children's Hospital, Boston in 2004, developing expertise in pediatric and congenital cardiovascular conditions. She provides care in English.

Dr. Garg practices at two Los Angeles locations, including the Smidt Heart Institute and Cedars-Sinai Prenatal Testing & Diagnosis. She focuses on treating complex congenital heart disease and atrial septal defects. Her expertise includes specialized cardiac imaging procedures such as fetal echocardiograms and Doppler echocardiograms. Dr. Garg also performs dobutamine stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart function under stress conditions.
