Dr Ellerbusch is one of the most thorough, knowledgeable and compassionate physicians I have on my care team! As a retired physician I completely trust his guidance and care. His staff has the same concern and care for me as Dr Ellerbusch. My entire family has seen him at one time.

Dr Craig is on a pedestal in my book and every time I see him, the pedestal gets higher. I had a fall with complicated breaks in my “soft bones”, exacerbated by a PT who dropped me while I was in rehab and broke my ankle pretty badly (NOT at Southlake PT - they were wonderful). After almost 2 years of recovery my bones are still a mess and Dr. Craig is the ONLY one who gave me hope today that he can help me get better as well as treat my pain without a drug that causes dependency. Hope is a precious emotional commodity, having waited 2 years to get a glimmer of that gift, in addition to the encouragement that he can also improve my physical disabilities. He is brilliant and kind with expert knowledge and experience in his field and I appreciate that he is a non-surgical specialist. I’m a believer with the greatest admiration for him as a wonderful man and orthopaedist.

Dr. Blum and his staff did a Great job diagnosing my hip/ hip and knee issue. I’m not hurting as I did before the visit. The muscles around my knee is improving each day.

To Dr. Luka, Erica & Southlake Orthopedics I have been trying to find the right words to express how incredibly grateful I am to both of you, but honestly, I don’t know if words will ever be enough. After enduring two failed ankle surgeries with another surgeon, I had reached a point where I truly began questioning myself. I was in constant pain, I knew something wasn’t right, yet I was made to feel as though I simply had to accept that pain as my new normal. I started wondering if maybe I was imagining things or if I was somehow being unreasonable for continuing to say that something was wrong. Then I met Dr. Lukasiewicz. From the very beginning, he listened to me. He took me seriously. Most importantly, he made me realize that I was not crazy. There really was something wrong with my ankle, and he was determined to find it and fix it. And he did. Dr. Lukasiewicz didn’t just repair my ankle — he gave me my life back. After everything I had been through, having someone finally… recognize what was wrong and actually correct it meant more to me than I can possibly explain. And Erica, I want you to know that your kindness, compassion, patience, and care meant just as much to me. You both treated me like a person rather than a problem to be rushed through. You made me feel heard, cared for, and safe during a time when I had very little faith left in healthcare. What you may not realize is that you didn’t just heal my ankle. You healed my view of healthcare. After my previous experiences, I had become afraid to trust doctors and afraid to believe that anyone would truly listen to me. The two of you changed that. You reminded me that there are still healthcare professionals who genuinely care about the people sitting in front of them — professionals who listen, advocate, show compassion, and refuse to give up on someone who needs help. Dr. Lukasiewicz, thank you for believing me when I had started to doubt myself. Thank you for seeing what others missed. Thank you for fixing what I had been told I simply had to live with. And thank you for giving me something far more valuable than a successful surgery: hope and trust again. Erica, thank you for being such an important part of that journey. Your compassion and kindness will stay with me long after my ankle is healed. I truly believe the world needs more humans like the two of you. Dr.Kirchner was clearly interested in my issues and took the time to explain possible solutions. He was very patient and answered all of my questions. His staff was very friendly and easy to talk to as well.
