I was referred to this practice to see a different MD. Staff gave me an appt with Mucaly. During our first visit she argued with me about my medical history because she had reviewed three months of records and lacked a complete history. When she became visibly frustrated there was no clear-cut answer, she resorted to calling me obese. She opted to order redundant tests (didn't believe me that I had already done these because she didn't read the full case history). I sent her the test results she was missing and an article from JAMA to clarify the role my weight plays in a my complicated autoimmune diseases. During the second appt she read me the radiology and lab reports (I had read these but she insisted on reading them aloud as if I were a child) and had no interpretation or insight. She failed to get the UCSF biopsy reports and couldn't remember I had mentioned them in the last appointment (it didn't make her notes). Utterly pointless consult. May be okay if you are constipated or… have hemorroids, but she shows no signs of complex thought.
