Dr. Vesna Miloje Micic

I came in to review my daughter’s EEG results. Her exact words were “she has a learning disability, SHE’S NOT SMART!” Imagine how a 5 year old feels who already has anxiety and insecurities about herself and to be told by a “Professional” that “she’s not smart”, just reaffirms her insecurities. I could tell that my daughter was getting upset while listening to this. She then asked my daughter for today’s date. Knowing my daughter, when she gets upset, she freezes. So my daughter couldn’t answer her when she asked what today’s date is, which month and year is it right now. Then when my daughter couldn’t answer her, she then said to me “See, she’s not smart!” I’ve only experienced these from vile people in the streets, never would I expect such treatment from a Pediatrician!

The worst experience ever, we had an appointment with Dr.mimic at 9:30am, we arrived 15 min before our appointment’s time We were told that the doctor still not here yet, we been waiting for the doctor to arrive for more than 2 hours and the doctor still not in the clinic yet ( what kind of doctor is this? No value for patients time at all. so we had to leave to come back in the afternoon when the doctor will be there for sure.( we were hopping) The appointment was for a 2 years old toddler who we woke up at 7am to make him ready for the appointment, we had to take him back home because we had another appointment at 12 that we didn’t want to miss) and brought him back again a 3 to be seen by the doctor. Finally the doctor was there and the toddler was falling asleep because he was so tired , the Dr. mimic vesna woke him up to check him but he was fussy and so sleepy so he started crying and he wasn’t some how cooperating with her . The doctor was extremely rude and called abnormal… child and that his behaviors are out of control and that she never seen a normal toddler with these kind of behaviors. I was so choked to hear all these from what supposed to be an educated person, she supposed to have so much compassion for her patients and even if a child has some problems she should approach him and his parents with sympathy, but the toddler only 2 years old who was up since 7 am and didn’t take his nap and without any evidence, she called him an abnormal child and that he will be all his life abnormal . She was talking to me as a mom like she was talking to an enemy of her . I have no idea If she is normal herself or no because how would you tell a parent that your 2 years old isn’t a normal child because he is crying, and that he will never be a normal. We are human beings, we are parents and we love our children doesn’t matter what and we never want to hear any bad things about them, and god forbid something going on , we need to feel some sympathy and kindness, we always want to hear that there is some hope, we don’t want to deal with a doctor like mimic vesna, who her chocking works will penetrate a parent’s heart and can even depress you . Never again this doctor, and please stay away from her. She is heartless doctor with no compassion. She made me cry and hurt my feelings so badly.please save yourself energy, time, and money and look somewhere else for a nice doctor. The doctor wasn’t even neat, stains all over her clothes, she was coughing and never cleaned her hands before touching my son . Very inappropriate doctor Stay away!!
