I had an appointment with Dr. Khanna, a rheumatologist,was my second appointment with her and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. I felt that my symptoms were not fully listened during the consultation,she was just talking and talking but not listening my symptoms. I was also informed that there was limited time for patients, which made me feel rushed and unheard. As a patient dealing with chronic illness issues health concerns, I believe it is very important for a doctor to listen carefully, understand symptoms,and work together with the patient to find the most appropriate treatment plan. Feeling dismissed or not properly heard makes the process very difficult and frustrating. Overall, I hope future patients feel more heard and supported in their care, as effective communication between doctor and patient is essential for proper treatment.
