Dr. Aaron Michael Amos, MD

Dr. Amos is very good at explaining your condition, and treatment plan. His demeanor is calm, and compassionate. He even called to check on me after my procedure. A 5 star in his field.

I have been a patient of Dr. Amos for about 7-8 years. I really like him. He listens to my concerns, answers my questions and seems to really care. He seems to be the type who really stays up to date on latest medical developments and is very knowledgeable. I like his demeanor...very calm and relaxed. I will echo some of the comments other have made about his staff; they can be rude. Nevertheless, I will always trust my care to Dr. Amos.

Dr. Aaron M. Amos, with a practice at 309 Regency Pkwy # 107, Mansfield, TX 76063, has a staff that is not professional, rude, uncaring, and a urology practice you should avoid. If you need a urologist I highly recommend going elsewhere. I am patient with likely renal failure that is threatening my life. The threat continues until I find a urologist that will not humiliate me by the front office because of their incompetence. I believe the front office is a reflection of Dr. Amos. He treated me a couple of years ago and I had a similar experience. My family doctor recommended him for my current situation. I was hesitant to return, and this time my experience was even worse than before. They denied care at the time they previously specified. Further, they were so rude that I chose to live with the threat of renal failure rather than continue to be a subject of their awful manner. There is obviously a shortage of Urologist that affords Dr. Amos the ability to have a practice in spite… of doctor and staff with such bad character.

I have been a patient of Amos on a yearly basis for 9 years. The man as a doctor is great. He listens and has no problem calling you after hours if he knows you are not doing well. The problem is with his staff. About 18 months ago I have an 8 am appt. I verify on Friday. Tuesday I go in at 740. They leave me sit as the bring in patient after patient. Finally I say hey. Office manager, who is new at the time, says my appt was 830. I didn't get to a room until 945. I call call center and say hey. They tell me someone in Amos's office changed my appt 2 times the day before yet no call. There is color code when the office screws you around. Now I need an MRI but nobody from his office calls me. I finally have to call them saying what's up. Sets appt for 2 days before my visit with Amos? Needless to say I have to be sure info gets to Amos by the next day. Now I need a biopsy for safeties sake yet Amos's staff waits almost 2 weeks to get me an appointment for over a month… later? His staff needs to be addressed. They are nice people but dang....they either aren't communicating or just plain don't care. It's such a shame.....he really is a good AND caring Doctor.

Dr. Amos is fantastic and really cares about getting you better or healthy.

When all the other doctors gave up on my family member, he refused to. HE is the only reason why my family member is still alive today. He KNOWS what needs to be done, AND will actually get it done. Not only is he an AMAZING doctor, but his compassion for EVERYONE surpasses all. Everyone we have referred to him, says the same about him!

Dr. Amos has been treating me for 7 years now and has always been excellent. He has also treated my father for prostate cancer. He cares about his patients and does whatever needs to be done to make you comfortable and help you feel better. When he came to the conclusion that I would have to loose my kidney he hugged me and told me it would be alright he would take care of me, and he has.

Had know idea what he was doing. I had a kidney stone problem for OVER a month!!! Had surgery(4th one dealing with the same problem)and change time less than 24 hours before procedure because he didn't want to wait around during the day. The first surgery he botched and had to send me to a specialist for another surgery because he could not do it.
