Dr. Aaron David Campbell, MD

Least ethical physician I have dealt with. Our son had possibly ingested some medication and because of where we live the urgent care was 3 minutes away vs a 20 minute drive to the actual ER. I called before we brought our son, as we were rushing to get him seen by a doctor to explain what was happening so they would be prepared. Once we arrived Dr.Campbell and his assistant stood behind the front desk having us spend 12 minutes giving info to the receptionist before having us bring him back just for him to scold us for not taking him to the ER and say "What did you think we could do here at Urgent care?" I left in tears feeling judged, belittled and utterly terrified rushing my 2 year old son to St.Lukes ER where we were treated with empathy, kindness and thankfully discovered he had only taken a FIBER pill. Had my son ingested one of my prescription medications he could have died! But instead of rushing to help our son instead Dr.Campbell decided to stay behind a locked door allowing… us to give information to the front desk so he could take payment for telling us he couldn't do anything. He didn't even bother calling poison control or anything. The most unethical encounter I have EVER had.

After multiple attempts (different devices, settings & browsers), I managed to enter the virtual room with my son, who had an eye infection. The technical issues continued - I could not hear Dr. Campbell with headset (used to eliminate echo), Dr. Campbell could not see us even though our camera displayed both of us on my side plus he heard his echo since I had to remove the headset. I was under the impression that Dr. Campbell was rushed/ and or annoyed, and I felt he thought I was the cause of the technical issues. Nonetheless, he ticked off all the boxes and even called me back after the virtual room crashed - even though not under the number that I provided when filling in the paperwork to prep the visit.

Most people who write reviews don't have anything good to say. Dr. Campbell has taken excellent care of my and my entire family (myself, husband and 2 kids) for over 3 yrs now. He is always attentive and explains things better than any other doctor I have encountered.

He is the biggest jerk, and shouldn't be practicing. I went in bc my child fell, and he just focused on me, insulting me and never assessed my child. I couldn't believe how horrible he is to patients. I was crying and asking him to please look at my child and he refused and said to go to the ER bc he didn't want to help. I have never been treated so unprofessionally.

Dr Campbell was amazing with my children and family. We miss having him in Oregon.

I found his attitude and his bedside manner atrocious.

I went to Dr. Campbell due to a head injury and injured spine from a work accident. He did not introduce himself. Instead he sat at his computer and started firing questions at me. When he would ask me a question and I had to clarify and asked him he seemed to be angry. He would cut me off. Never did I see him smile. I ended up saying to him that he must not like the work that he does, that he is an angry person who does not smile or make his patient feel welcome and that he need to really work on his bedside manor. He replied, well I have a good report with most of my patients. He admitted that he did not want to treat me and instead referred me for testing that I do not feel is needed. A CT scan and to a neurologist. I only went to this MD because SAIF workman's comp requires an MD.The nurse and office staff are all wonderful!
