My exam by Dr Cohen was the worst medical experience in my life. I saw him for an annual eye exam with no serious problems. His special glaucoma test involved placing a disc probe directly on my eyes. Anesthetic drops in the eyes are required. However, no anesthetic was apparent during this exam. The eye pain I experienced was beyond description. I complained to Dr Cohen about the excruciating pain and he ignored me during the exam and afterwards. There is something wrong with this guy as he doesn’t communicate. His practice is run like an assembly line. When I experienced extreme pain, Cohen should have stopped and evaluated the situation. It was clear he was in a rush to complete the exam and go on to the next patient. My eyes are still feeling the effects and I will see another eye doctor to evaluate possible damage. Afterwards, I contacted another doctor who said Cohen’s behavior was completely unacceptable and endangered patient health. Avoid this guy!
