Dr. Aaron Medoff Fay, MD

Completely misdiagnosed me after 3 other doctors (radiologist, ER, other plastic surgeon) has given me the same diagnosis. He told me to, “catch the ball next time” since my injury happened as I was running the bases in a softball game (?!?!?). I left his office so confused and upset. When I nervously called the next day to talk to him he accused me of being racist and not respecting him and his ponytail. I was a 22 year old female dealing with a severe injury at the time. I barely had the courage to tell him he was wrong. His mother didn’t raise him right.

I had eyelid surgery with Dr. Fay. I had only light anesthesia, so I was able to hear him throughout my surgery talk about his next case in the other room. He was so distracted and not focusing on ME, that my eyes are now asymmetrical. I followed up with the head of the dept who agreed that my eyes are noticeably uneven. She offered to redo the surgery, but I am too apprehensive, afraid things could get worse. I DO NOT recommend Dr. Fay and was disgusted by his cocky attitude. He even took a personal phone call during my follow up appt!

I was fortunate to have Dr Fay for my cataract surgery and he was just wonderful. He explained the procedure in detail and was very easy to talk to. My vision is great after surgery and I wouldn’t have any other eye surgeon than Dr Aaron Fay. He’s the best in his field

My son developed a vascular hemangioma on his eyelid when he was a couple weeks old. Local doctors told me all we could do was take oral steroids and hope it didn’t grow to much and his was most likely going to lose his vision in at least one eye. We found Dr Fay thru the vascular birthmark foundation. We were able to get an appointment quickly and on the day we went for our initial visit he even performed a steroid injections into the growth. Since my son was only a couple months old this was a procedure where he had to be put under and in an operating room. He then got us scheduled for his surgery within a couple weeks. His work was amazing. My son lost no vision and unless you know to look at it you can’t even see the scar. He was busy and to the point when we met but I was fine with it. I have no doubt he cared about my sons treatment and I was looking for someone to save my kids vision not hold my hand. I don’t mind a little bit of arrogance when it is backed up with amazing… work! Highly recommended if you need a good doctor!

Sentia algo en mi ojo,el me atendio muy bien.Me hablo, me explico que pasaba dentro de mi ojo derecho,en espanol se llama cuerpos flotantes...diminutos trocitos de sustancia gelatinosa....(flies floating in my eyes).Estaba preocupada pero gracias a el todo bien.

I had a great experience with Dr. Fay. He was highly recommended by another oculoplastic surgeon because he is an expert in the particular surgical procedure I required. I did not have to wait in his office for a long time to see him, and he treated me courteously and respectfully. In the other patient interactions I observed, I noted the same behavior. The surgery he performed on me was well done, and I have been pleased with the result. I found his staff to be easy to work with. My experience with Dr. Fay has been entirely positive, and I would not hesitate to return to him or to refer a friend or family member to him.

my daughter sara wa s b born with a orbital hemangioma 20 years ago it went down first few years oflife but not completely liek she wants it to be totally gone. ..so we went to dr faye he took care of it had surgery he did a excellent job he took out 90 percent of it she looks beautifuland shes happy so imhappy to ..thank u dr fayer i shoudl of weent to him much earlier like 5 years earlier....and who cares abotu bedside manner as others say ..as lonmg as we have the best dr for our child!!!

Dr. Fay runs very late and is not worth waiting for mostly because of his rude manner and condescending attitude, I cannot judge him on abilities because I did not have any surgery. I'm an 88 year old woman waited for hours to be seen, only to be subjected to his ill manners and rude comments. I would not recommend him at all.
