I have chronic back pain from a lifetime of sports as well as working a heavy and repetitive job in logistics - or trucking. After surgery has repaired what can be fixed, you're left with chronic pain. Dr. Lloyd understands your pain is real after reviewing your chart and provides you with the requisite pain medication to manage your pain effectively. The amount of medication you take is monitored both by you as the patient and by the practice so this is a professional practice. Dr. Lloyd also performs facet joint injections and radiofrequency ablations to provide relief for my back pain which has been extremely effective. You are also followed by a very caring and professional PA and staff throughout your treatment. I recommend Dr. Lloyd to any person who is tired of hitting dead ends seeking solutions for their pain, he is amazing and I give thanks for him almost daily.

Dr Lloyd & PA Gwen Brown always go out of their way to make my pain as minimal as possible. Whether it’s through steroid shots, rhizotomy, pain pump, spinalal cord stimulation, and pain medication, he goes above and beyond to find the best way to find the right pathway for each patient instead of just loading you up with opioids and sending you on your way. He and Gwen genuinely care about their patients and will fight insurance or what or whoever to get what’s in you the patents best interest, as he believes your care should be decided between between you the patient and your doctor, not a third party.

I live 1/2 year in PA and 1/2 year in TX. I happened to be in PA when I had the worst pain I can remember having. The doctors in my rural area who addressed pain issues could not see me for over a month. My husband advised calling Dr. Lloyd, whom had given me steroid shots for many years in an effort to avoid surgery. He was kind enough to see me quickly, and with me coming from out of state, I was able to have an office visit and epidural steroids in the same day. I can’t say enough about his kindness and expertise.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Lloyd for over 7 years. I came to Dr Lloyd for treatment of severe back pain that was limiting my life. Over the next 5 years, Dr Lloyd and his staff treated my back with periodic injections and meds. Two years ago, he suggested I talk to a back surgeon, I had surgery in May of 2017 and enjoyed a year pain free. During a routine visit with Nurse Practitioner Gwen Brown and an MRI, we discovered a new issue with my back. I had planned at monthlong trip to Europe and was concerned that I might not be able to go. I began a PT program and Dr Lloyd gave me an injection about a week before I left. I enjoyed every phase of the trip of a lifetime and thank Dr Lloyd, Gwen Brown and their staff for keeping me vértical, walking and enjoying my life at age 78!

This is the best pain management doctor in the country, probably the world but I will refrain as I haven’t used any outside of USA! He’s got a great heart, very giving and caring. He saved my life regulated my medication and my life. He took time out of his VERY BUSY day to come to court to testify on my behalf in family court! I wouldn’t be the person or the mother I am without him! He’s the REAL deal!

Dr. Lloyd's staff is so accommodating and pleasant. He has been treating my mother for several years, and has given her life back to her! He is an excellent doctor who cares about his patients, and I would recommend him wholeheartedly!

I have been seeing Dr Lloyd for almost 11 years. I had a back injury that he helped me with before and after my 1st surgery when I lived in DFW. We tried everything, as it was a work comp case. He and his staff have worked tremendously hard over the years to help me get approved for what I needed done and medications that I needed. They would even help with adjusters to get the approvals I needed. Once my 1st surgery was done they helped me off my medications per my request. I could always get a hold of them during the day and if it was after hours the on call always calls back. After 3 years my hardware broke and the ER doctor in my community did not understand my chronic pain needs. I called Dr Lloyds office and had an appointment the next week. I needed a 2nd surgery to go back to remove some hardware and replace the rest. Dr. Lloyd lets me know my options and has always told it to me straight. I'm only 38 and have been able to reduce my medications through a Nuero Implant. I… live 6 hours away from his nearest office and to this day I still make that drive. He has a good bedside manner with a quiet sense of humor. He and his staff always communicate in ways that I and my partner understand.
