Dr. Luekenga, a highly skilled Optometrist, traces his roots back to Nampa, Idaho, where he spent his formative years. He embarked on his academic journey at Brigham Young University, earning his bachelor's degree before pursuing his passion for optometry at the Southern California College of Optometry, where he attained his doctorate. Dr. Luekenga's professional trajectory took an exciting turn as he commenced his optometry practice in the U.S. Navy, serving as an officer and collaborating closely with F18 fighter pilots, their crew, and families. This unique experience not only honed his expertise in addressing the vision needs of some of the most visually demanding patients globally but also equipped him with specialized training in treating ocular trauma, eye diseases, and laser eye surgery.His commitment to comprehensive patient care was further solidified through his prior work in hospital settings, where Dr. Luekenga collaborated with professionals across various medical …specialties, from pediatrics to geriatrics and radiology to surgery.
