Dr. Aaron Houston Delong Wood, MD

My mom's experience with Dr Wood and his staff was excellent. our appointment was at the Hunt valley location which was perfect.. it was very easy to get to, the facility is on the first floor and the parking is right up front which was convenient given my mom needs to use a wheelchair .. the appointment ran right on time. The staff was very personable and helpful! Dr Wood had a great bedside matter and kept up with my mom's jokes....he was very patient with her and their team comes highly recommended!

Very disappointing today with the extremely long wait.

We were completely put at ease on the day of, and even when we had concerns before, the surgery. Everyone spoke to us with patience and respect. Bedside manner was astounding!

I knew from the first office visit that I was finally going to get what I need from Dr. Wood. I have had constsntly problems with my tonsils and other doctors gave a lot of excuses of why not to do it. Dr. Wood seen the problems I had and quickly got me in and took care of it. I thought GBMC ENT was super helpful in preparing me for surgery but most importantly for the recovery. Everyone, including the doctor said the recovery would be painful. I did not believe them. I felt GBMC ENT did everything possible to help in making me as comfortable as I could possibly be. I loved that I could communicate with the doctors through HealthLoop which made me feel like I was directly talking with the doctor. Now the only think I want back is my taste buds!!

I really liked using HealthLoop online. It was a great way for me to get answers to my questions directly from the doctor and his staff. I had a response very quickly to every question asked. HealthLoop is also used to check in after procedures, which is great. It tells me what I should expect and gives additional information. I was very pleased with the doctor and my daughter is SO much happier after getting tubes.

We have had a horrible winter with ear infections every two weeks. We finally were referred to Dr. Wood and his practice where they explained how tubes in my 14 mo old would help. I was wary for a while because we had already had a 9 week NICU stay and surgery for a hernia. After some prayer, and another two infections, we went forward with it. I wish we had done it much sooner. The improvement was dramatic in just a number of hours after the procedure. My son starting sleeping through the night and longer, he immediately started speaking more and his balance improved so much he started running! He is 16 months now. I really appreciated all of the careful attention not only to my son's medical needs, but our family's scheduling needs and mommy's emotional needs. The daily health loop check ins really comforted me and Dr Wood responded very timely to any questions I had. Thank you so much!

Dr. Wood diagnosed my issue immediately and set an action plan in motion to get me feeling better. He acts with a since of urgency that makes you feel like he truly cares. Great bed side manner. I traveled from NYC to MD just to be treated by Dr. Wood. His entire team was phenomenal! 5 STARS!
