I use to have a pych for depression, ive been to couples therapy, and because i was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, I did DBT individual and group therapy for a year. 70+% of pychs i meet, are pretty awful and useless. Dr. Mathur is the complete opposite. Shes trully great and goes way above and beyond.DBT is a very specific type of therapy that needs to be taken seriously if you have BPD. Meds cant help BPD, best treatment is Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Theres only 1 center in the Tampa Bay area that specializes with that and they dont take insurance. Dr. Mathur went out and seeked special training after our very first session so that she could best help me. I was freakin amazed by that! Shes super smart, organized, and compassionate. I would reccomend her to anyone! Id have my entire family see her if it wasnt a conflict of interest. BEST THERAPIST EVER!
