Dr. Abbeselom P Ghermay, MD

I have been in for my lab work last week. I have two pills left to help control my back and neck pain. I just need to know what to do, I have called K, talked to the front office, no return call from K, the ladies who take phone calls have said no one can help me but K. Your office has always been so, so kind and prompt if I have a problem. NOT today, why?

Dr. Ghermay is an exceptional doctor who is focused on solving your pain issues. I have had multiple procedures with Dr. Ghermay that have addressed different problems and he has made a vast difference in my quality of life. I will continue to see him and seek out his expertise. You should as well. A+++++

The day of the pain injections was very smooth. Timely, informative, well handled by all participants. I will certainly continue using Dr. Ghermay and would recommend him to anyone in need of his expertise. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I authorized the pain injections through a voice message, and despite leaving a second message over a week later, I never got my requested confirmation that the original message was heard and was being worked. It was more than two weeks after my authorization to move forward when I got the call that insurance approval was granted. I understand from their voice message that it can take upto 14 days for insurance approval, but I had no way of knowing for certain when my clock started. All I was asking for after about a week was a message to let me know that things were being worked, but I never got that and so I sat here in pain wondering if things were moving or not. All it would have taken was a text or a quick phone call to let me… know, but that didn't happen. Communication could be a bit better.

Dr. Ghermay and his team greeted me when we met for my procedure, I haven’t experienced any discomfort and feel that I am getting better every day. Looking forward to my next appointment!!

Dr. Ghermay has been great about being proactive in my situation and I really appreciate it. If you prefer someone to take the time to sit, talk and address multiple issues at once, you may be disappointed, because he addresses one thing at a time and is not there to chat. However, I don’t believe you would be disappointed in the care you would receive. My appointments with him usually last only a couple of minutes, but he is quick about finding a game plan and getting it put into action. I’ve been very pleased with the help I’ve received from him and his staff.

Dr. Ghermay, Jose, the receptionists, and Kay & Karen have taken care of me through several surgeries and ongoing conditions like psoriatic arthritis. They are always positive, thoughtful, & very professional. Through the years, as my situation has changed, Dr. Ghermay has always helped me with pain management. I was able to continue teaching into my it's. I am so very grateful to each of them.

It was clear that his focus is not just treating symptoms, but helping patients regain function and live more comfortably. I left the appointment feeling hopeful and reassured that there is a plan moving forward. I appreciate the time he spent with me and his commitment to helping patients manage their pain and improve their daily lives.
