Dr. Abbie Lois Mincks

I have never felt so ignored and talked down to from a dr. I had two appointments which lead up to her doing a dnc and removal of polyps. During the few weeks of waiting for the surgery, I developed a horrible pelvic pain and ended up in the ER. I was blown off by WHA for two weeks after my ER visit till my surgery date. I called twice about seeing a dr to help me but they would only give me a pain med. I was told Dr. Minck’s would address the pain during the surgery. The day of the surgery Dr Minck’s not only dismissed my pain by telling me the ER is never correct but spoke down to me when I was visibly upset on how I have been feeling. Never did she take time to look at the ER CAT scan! When she left the room before surgery I broke down and cried. My husband was appalled at her behavior. One week after my surgery, I am still in pain and having a hard time doing normal things. I called WHA about this issue AGAIN and all they wanted to do was give me an appointment with a nurse. I… feel I need to see Dr Minck’s or any Dr who could help me. I am miserable!! I am probably leaving WHA and not even going to my follow up appointment on my surgery with Minck’s in another week. I can’t stress how much this has made me feel so anxious and down!
