GOOD DOC

Called Abby Roberts for an emergency appointment. Was assigned to her PA. Tests ordered were lost or reported late which included a chest x-ray, stool sample and three vials of blood. Abby Roberts denied speaking with or supervising the PA's work. I was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia on May 26, 2015. Symptoms included abnormal white cell count and fever. Spent three days in hospital costing Medicare over $20,000. Tried to reach PA, but was told she was on extended leave. I collected my medical records and am no longer a patient of Abby Roberts.

Dr. did not pay attention to my conditions; blood test was insufficient and did not test everything it should have. I went in for an annual physical but got a well-woman exam, much less thorough (no EKG, no tests for muscle tone, etc.). My requests for x-ray results were completely ignored. Medical report on the online portal was cookie cutter, full of errors and failed to address my circumstances. I waited 45 minutes in the waiting room and another 45 minutes in the exam room. She does as little as possible, worrying more about the insurance companies than about patients.

Dr Roberts herself I respect, we haven't always seen eye to eye on things she has become a lot more of a pill pusher than what she was in the beginning. However, the office is not very helpful, they make you feel like they are going out of their way to serve you and that you should feel lucky for them even taking the time with you. Perhaps Dr. Roberts would do better in a different environment. We won't be going back.

Dr. Roberts is always prompt, I hardly have to wait in the waiting room. She listens and will discuss possible solutions for your issues. She is a very caring, genuine person with excellent bedside manner!

My experience with Dr. Roberts could not have been worse. Her first statement to me after reviewing my chart was so what do you want me to do? If I knew what to do I would not have been in her office. Her personality is very insensitive. Her comment to me that her day has been full of challenging patients was unprofessional. I will not be returning and would not recommend her to anyone.I would in the healthcare field also and this is not how patients look to be treated.

She is so caring with my husband and I. She takes time to go over all our issues and really makes us comfortable.

It's so refreshing to see a Doctor with good bedside manners that doesn't make you feel stupid or silly for asking questions. I always feel like she listens to me as well!
