This doctor is an excellent surgeon and is very skilled. He may not have the best bedside manner, but if you want an ethical doctor to do your surgery, you can have confidence in Dr. Shalodi. Sometimes a hysterectomy is the best solution. You will eventually lose function of your reproductive organs naturally over time, so it's not like a hysterectomy will rob you of your quality of life. Sometimes, it will actually enhance your life, especially if you have severe uncontrolled unpredictable uterine bleeding.

This dr performs unnecessary hysterectomies and does not explain the adverse effects of a hysterectomy, including loss of sexual function. He also seems to think that HRT (hormone replacement therapy) will make everything ok - especially if ovaries are removed. The fact is, you are born with functioning ovaries for a reason as well as a uterus and a cervix. Unless there is invasive cancer, a hysterectomy is NOT recommended as primary treatment for CIN 3 - do your homework and avoid this physician!
