Dr. Abdul Basit Khan Lodhi, MD

Would give him 0 stars. As a new patient, I was scheduled at 9am. When I got there, 4 other new patients were also scheduled at 9am. The first staff member arrived at 9:05. Doctor didn't arrive until 9:38. Once he came into the room, he asked me why I was there. I told him I was diagnosed with arthritis and osteoarthritis. Without physically examining me at all, he told me there was nothing he can do for me. I explained I am in constant pain. His reply, "nothing I can do". When I pressed, he said "I can prescribe a blood test and x-rays and you decide if they're necessary" (to check what type of arthritis I had as I told him it was diagnosed by a podiatrist and he replied, "he's not qualified to make that diagnosis"). After saying then I wasted my money and time, he said well, yes. Not only did they charge me my co-pay but added a 5% charge for using a credit card. The office is very hot and smelled horribly. I have NEVER written a review on anyone before, but I was so… disgusted by this doctor and his lack of caring that I felt I had to.

Llevo con esta oficina ya casi 8 años y en los últimos meses la organización a sido fatal, mi cita me la han cancelado 2 veces, por que no han tratado de conseguir un referido y luego me dicen Que no tiene referido que tiene que cancelarla

Doctor is extremely busy & wait times are long. Seems to double book appointments - which is fine for patients that are already a situated patient but for new patients it's frustrating to be rushed & talked over. His nursing assistant is professionally passive aggressive and seems to be incompetent at the only job she's tasked with. If her work & home life stinks then it makes sense that she would be distracted, making her incompetent. Either that or some people are just born miserable & she doesn't care to do her job properly. Everyone has the opportunity to be happy but some people just choose not to be!

Where to start... You wait for over an hour to be seen every time, the office staff are completely incompetent and clearly hate their jobs, you pay high copays because he's a specialist, but even if you get over two dozen tests done and many of them come back abnormal he says you're fine and there's no real way to know what's wrong. What's the point of being a specialist on something if you don't know how to test for your specialty? He blatantly lies (even in your medical charts), he's rude, he clearly does not care about his patients whatsoever, and he's apparently also horrible at the one and only thing he's supposed to be able to do. I've never disliked a doctor more in my life. Please go to literally ANYONE else.

First the office a/c is off. Full office and everyone suffocating. Second, this so called professional has complete disregard for patients time. I waited for an hour inside and walk out and left. Don't do it.

My husband has been using Dr. Lodhi for 3-4 (maybe more) years now and discovered he has Rheumatoid Arthritis. We first went to him because my husband had pain in one of his hands and could hardly use it. We now go about every 3 months and my husband is able to use his hand again. It does hurt on occasion, but not to the degree it had before. Many people don't realize when they first go that there is a lot of blood work to be done and is done every month thereafter. This is to give Dr. Lodhi a baseline of what the patient's stats are and to see how the medication and treatment may be affecting the liver and other parts of the body. Once the routine has been stabilized and no damaging affects are being done to the body, then the blood tests become every three months. Some people may think he is doing the blood tests as a way to just get money out of them. I thought I too might have arthritis and did the blood tests to discover that I do not have it. There has been no action… to have me continue doing blood tests or any other action on behalf of Dr. Lodhi. I am thankful that Dr. Lodhi was able to help my husband. People need to read and be informed about their conditions and sometimes miracles are just not possible for some conditions.

Rude and have a lot of attitude .

Trying to schedule an appointment with this office is very difficult. You have a better chance of winning the lottery than you do talking to someone in this office when you call.

We were seen in the Kissimmee office. The waiting room was small and crowded, with a high volume of patients. The office staff did not get along, and seemed to be snipping at each other. The doctor chastised a staff member in front of all in the waiting room. There was no effort at patient privacy. In fact, the doctor asked his nurse to call out test results to him, with ability for all in the waiting room to hear. When we finally saw the doctor, briefly, he had not read my chart. He asked a few questions, and ordered many tests. Saw us for all of five minutes. When we returned with test results, he saw us for a few minutes, asked a few questions and asked us to make another appointment. Not happening.

My first and only visit was rushed and I felt the doctor wasn't interested in my medical history. There wasn't any physical examination and after a brief exchange of words, he hurried me out of the room with an order for an enormous amount of bloodwork to be done without any explanation or professional opinion. I was given a follow up appointment in two weeks, but I had to cancel it because I was unable to get all the labs done in time and I was told to call back for another appointment when the bloodwork was done. I tried to schedule another appointment, but could not get anyone to answer the phone. I called four different times and left messages to please return my call which never happened. It is evident to me that the staff is just as unconcerned for the patients as Dr. Lodhi. It has been several months since my visit and I haven't received any calls regarding my lab results or to schedule another appointment. I will find another caring, professional specialist and my advice to… other people is don't waste your time and money.
