Dr. Abdul Wali Nuristani, MD

I am/feel very glad and pleased to have found Dr Nuristani, who has recently become my primary Nephrologist. After having different not so good experiences with previous kidney specialist from other health institutions, I think I’ve finally found the right kidney specialist. I had decided to reach out to Dr. Nuristani’s clinic because reviews about him were excellent. After having my first medical appointment (by phone) with Dr. Nuristani I have fully understood the reasons why there are so many good reviews about him and his clinic. He was attentive, professional and willing to listen to his patient (me). He took his time, and together we reviewed most of my health issues to allow him be informed and updated about my condition and health circumstances. He showed interest and concern about every aspect I explained to him. I particularly noticed, because of what he mentioned to me, that he does not rush pre-dialysis patients into dialysis without having analyzed multiple factors… and facts, mainly and basically taking into consideration the patient’s physical, cognitive and emotional functions as well and his quality of life, rather that prioritizing NUMNBERS to conclude or decide about dialysis treatment. I would be pleased to recommend Dr. Nuristani to others (friends and family members).

Very short wait time. Very responsive and friendly staff. If you leave a message, they will call you back right away or at least the same day with the answer. Wanted to fill out some forms. They asked me to fax the form to them. When I got there it was already ready to pick up. Very happy with them.

He is kidney specialist, but also sees some primary care patients. I have been his patients for some times. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. Explains everything in layman's term.
