Abdul R. Alchaki, MD

Dr. Alchaki impressed me so much! Before my appointment, at least three different people in the Houston Methodist System gave high reviews about him and said I chose the BEST person to handle my neurological care. He came in and immediately knew my ENTIRE 15 year medical history from memory! It was as if I had a documentary about my health journey and he had watched it. He was very kind, thorough In his assessments, and I left with an action plan on how to get better. He listened to me and answered all my questions. I felt empowered. Hands down the absolute best neurologist I've ever had and I'm staying with him forever.

I'm battling a lot at this time and really hopeless. I explained that I'm really giving up and just want my life back. He advised me to trust him and he is going to help me get my life back. That he was starting over from scratch because my chart is a mess. That things would be hard but we are going to figure it out.

Literally the best Dr I have ever been to. I have never had someone listen to me so well.

Dr. Alchaki is top notch. I'm so glad my cousin in-law referred me to him. My original neurologist wasn't anywhere close to Dr. Alchaki's knowledge. Great Dr. And highly recommended

I feel like Dr. Alchaki is very knowledgable in his field and my visit was overall very good. The only thing I would mention is that I feel that he is "holding back" on his explanations and all that he knows, maybe because he wants to have the results of the tests that he is ordering. I still would have appreciated more discussion or sharing of his knowledge even if it is on a "hypothetical" basis meaning "if your results show this then we can conclude this etc. ...".

Dr. Alchaki makes you feel comfortable and confident, explaining and answering any questions. He listens to your concerns. He is the best doctor I have seen for MS and I feel like I can thrive under his care.

Hi, I just wanted to say that Dr.Alchaki is one of the best doctors that I've ever had. I've gone through a very scary time in my life and he has done everything possible to make it easier, whether it be having me, come in right away after test results to explain it. Making sure I understand everything that's going on and the options that are available. His nurse is very caring and very understanding and they're always there to help. Even when I am. Sometimes the rationally terrified. I honestly have the best care team for my diagnosis and I am so thankful that they are part of this journey with me. If there was an award that I could give to them, they would get it hands down.

This doctor's extensive M.S. knowledge and very caring attitude was exactly what I needed to learn at this time! As you can see, I can relate very positive comments concerning Dr. Alchaki - he was wonderful!!
