Dr. Abdullah Muhammad Al-Dwairi, MD

I have had Dr. Al Dwairi as my primary Physician for he past 11 years. I was nervous, moving to a smaller area from LA, that I wouldn't have the same quality of care that I received from my LA doctors. (I had great docs there). Dr. Al Dwairi has proven to be a very positive person in my life, that I have grown to appreciate very much. He's consistant with his advice on my type 2 diabetes. He's coached me (and it took some patience on his part) to get my blood sugar level to a safe place. I like him and his team very much.

Dr. Al-Dwairi's staff is incompetent and rude. They don't schedule appt. accurately to allow time for the patient type visit. Even after being told more than once what the situation is. They call me and cancel appts for a patient I am bringing to the clinic and reveal his name, although when I had to cancel appt. they tell me it will be a no show because I can't cancel the appt. because I am not on the list. HIPPA rule. If that is the case then they violated the HIPPA rule and need to be reported. This is more than frustrating!!!

He had done more for me in 5 months than my previous PCP in 15 years.

Dr. Al-Dwairi spends the extra time to explain your medical condition in layman's terms, unlike most doctors. Over the years I've grown to think of him like a friend. Also, he is not a pill pusher.

He is the only doctor who explained Hep C completely and convinced me to get a liver biopsy which helped me to know exactly where my health was at.....he is a great doctor! My Hep C was from a blood transfusion in 1981 & it took many years to get straight answers....
