Dr. Abid Raza Khan, MD

If I could give less then 1 star I would. Dr. Khan walked into the room already with a bad attitude. Never looked at my chart, that the nurse just filled out with all of my information. Then wouldnt let me finish any sentence. He kept pushing ketamine. telling me that he has a friend who makes it out in Farwell. Because the guy doesn''t do the whole pharmaceutical stuff. I'm sorry you want me to take drugs that "supposedly" the only thing that will help with my nerve pain, because you have a friend who makes it himself. Seems to me maybe you both should be investigated. Are you getting some kind of kick back? I tried to ask a question and he just tells me "I'm not finished talking" He spent no more then 5 minutes in the room before storming out of it like a 3 year child.

IT IS MY OPINION This doctor needs to be investigated . He uses experimental drugs and is involved in studies. He will not take no for an answer if you say the drug is not helping and badger you until you say they are helping . When you question his practices he becomes angry and yells at you . He then told my fiancé that she was crazy and a hypercondriac .He confirmed this by saying her pain was caused by depression. Her pain is actually caused from diabetes and diabetic neuropathy .Now we believe from a drug called Oxytocin she is having major problems since taking this drug for several months. Now from things he put in her charts it is hard to ge proper care. BEWARE BEFORE YOU CHOOSE THIS DOCTOR

Horrible doctor. Seen him once for MAYBE 5 minutes, after waiting an hour after my scheduled appointment time. hurried me through,did not care what I had to say, did some routine blood work (same as doctors had in the past). Never received results, only a bill for over $700.00!!! For what?!? I was told for blood work (the same test I had done twice before that only cost me around $150.00) uncaring, unprofessional, horrible doctor!! Woulf definitely NOT recommend !!

Dr khan enjoys seeing people in pain and treats people like drug seekers been going to him for five months and I am in more pain now then I was before going to him he should not have a license

He is self centered and thinks he knows about pain he should resign he keeps you coming back for more money and treats you like a drug seeker been going there for four months and still in pain pain is getting worse but he doesn’t want to hear about it don’t know how he got his license must have had money to buy it cause he sure doesn’t listen to the people

Doesn't understand pain. Doesn't care. 3 severe MVA and permanent damage and I'm treated like an addict. He never listens. He should have nothing to do with irreversible chronic pain. I'm sorry I ever met the man. He's ruined what quality of life I had.

Dr. Khan is extremely intelligent and bright and by far the best physician to ever care for me. I initially met him through his pain management center. I had sustained central nervous system damage from a cervical level spinal cord injury approximately two years prior. The SCI injury resulted in intractable and incapacitating central pain. I had been under the sole care of my former neurologist. By my first appointment with Dr Khan I had been, for several months, totally bedridden and had become cognitively and psychiatrically disoriented. I was in such a deadly prolonged level of pain I was in a state of medical emergency. Through a series of weekly and then bi-weekly appointments Dr. Khan systematically led me out pain. Within 4 weeks I was walking and capable of self care (eg. showering). Within 6 weeks I was completely independent including driving. I have ever since been going all around this world just like I own the place lol. The pain disorder I have is uncommon,… complex and difficult to treat yet Dr. Khan dealt with it brilliantly and knew exactly what to do. He came here from John Hopkins, he is one of the best of the best and we are fortunate to have him here. He is now also my internist as well as pain management physician. Dr. Khan saved my life. My improvement has been so dramatic that everyone I know has become intrigued and interested in him. I recommend him at every opportunity. I also explain that I did not reach this point overnight, rather it was a systematic treatment plan. Also, trusting in Dr. Khan and having patience was required in such a situation. Dr. Khan is a highly qualified doctor as well a caring person overall. His staff are wonderful too.

After 9 years of being told nothing was wrong, I went to Dr. Kahn in desperate need of care and he was extremely thorough and caring. He went through me medical history since birth, listened carefullly, and started a treatment regimen that has greatly improved my quality of life! I’m so thankful for this man and his staff. I travel 3 hours one way for his appointments because he is that good and I’ve come to a point that I do not wish to see anyone else.
