Rude doctor. Paranoid. Drops patients if they ask questions.

This place is all about how many people they can shoot up with steroids a day,Dr acted god like,staff was OK,but pushed you out the door,a minute after the procedure,I won't be back

This doctor is unusually paranoid. My first visit a friend was on Facebook holding their phone and he demanded to see the phone due to him thinking he was being recorded. Did a spinal injection which I later found out is not recommended form of treatment even though I expressed that I have issues with oral steroids. He was suppose to perform a life saving healing procedure but would not do it correctly stating I am not in the nfl so it’s not conventional for him to do that. Even though half of the things he does is considered non-conventional to begin with. Recovery was never as it was said and I was treated like a payment more than I were a patient. I was never given the appropriate chance due to their choices and the fact that they want you’re money but do not tell you the truth about risk. He also cannot stand being questioned about anything that might be informed choices regarding his procedures. So if you are not a blind yes patient and you want any information or he changes a… procideure and you disagree he will not react well. I would stay far away and not see this doctor or anyone he affiliates with since they are not truly serving you’re best interest.

Back nerve block injection was immensely helpful.

I was nervous about getting a shot but it was much more comfortable than I expected. He was kind and answered my questions. My back and leg pain are much better. It doesn’t hurt to stand and walk like it used to. I almost didn’t have the shot but now am very glad I did.

He was the first Doctor to sit and explain to me what and why I was feeling what I was feeling. I have been to him 3 times and have recommended him numerous times.

Very knowledgeable Doctor who spent time explaining my situation so I knew what the problem was. Glad I found his practice in Mt. Pleasant. Dr Ruiz is a very nice and knowledgeable guy. It is obvious someone has a personal grudge against him on this site.

A friendly and excellent physician. He diagnosed me with a lumbar herniated disc and after an quick epidural shot my leg pain went away.

Very poor bedside manner, self centered, only worried about himself and how things affect his bottom line. He was very insulting, rude, and degrading. Would rather live with pain than see this man again!

I been to 3 other doctors for my back pain. They didn't do a thing for me. Finally found someone who knew what theyre doing and don't have back pain anymore.
