Dr. Abieyuwa Quinn Iyare, MD

A board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Iyare graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed her specialty training in pediatrics at New York University. Dr. Iyare specializes in the care of healthy full-term and late preterm newborn infants and serves as the general academic pediatrician for the Weiler Division newborn nurseries. She is also responsible for teaching pediatric and family medicine residents and medical students about general newborn care. Dr. Iyare is the site leader for our late preterm infant quality of care collaborative that is focused on promoting safe discharge for infants born between 34 and 36 weeks gestation. She co-chairs Montefiores multidisciplinary Breastfeeding Committee and is the co-principal investigator for Montefiores Community Putting Prevention to Work grant to improve rates of exclusive breastfeeding among healthy infants as a step to obesity prevention.
