Dr. Abilio Antunes Reis, MD

Dr. Reis has been a part of my care team for over 7 years now. Due to my age, most of my doctors ignored my complaints of back pain but Dr. Reis didn't do that. He immediately began step therapy, starting with medication and physical therapy. When he heard PT made it worse, he sent me for an MRI and he could see what was wrong. Very pleasant demeanor and did not dismiss me or my symptoms.

Doctors should practice a little more on listening to your full complaint instead of sitting there cutting you off and yelling you that you're wrong like you don't know what you're feeling. Especially pain. Did not give very good options or explanations to why you were being referred out to another specialist. Made you feel like what you're experiencing is not true because there's no way you could be hurting that bad. Told me to go get a second opinion instead of educating me
