He is also the recipient of the Columbia Department of Radiology's Chynn Research Award and the Society of Interventional Radiology's Abstract of the Year Award, and his research has been supported by competitive grants from the SIR Foundation, including the Radiology Resident Research Grant and the Dr. and Mrs. W.C. Culp Student Research Grant.
Dr. Sajan completed his integrated interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and his undergraduate degree from Macaulay Honors College at the City University of New York.
Dr. Sajan is passionate about medical education and enjoys teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows. He values building long-term relationships with his patients and is drawn to outpatient interventional radiology, where he can provide longitudinal care from initial consultation through treatment and follow-up. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on the New York Giants.
