I was never treated so badly as a patient by any physician. I was referred for consultation for elbow and shoulder pain which was diagnosed as rotator cuff tear and was ordered to have surgery. I wanted to have MRI which was refused because Dr.. Ward did not want to deal with authorization and asked me to trust him because he is THE DOCTOR. I asked for second time to think about it because it was not an urgent surgery and he had the worst attitude because I "wasted his time" and " where did I get my medical degree?" I saw another physician, who got the MRI authorization and turned out I had bursitis and a small tear in only one tendon that did not need surgery. I just had another appointment with Orthopedic Surgeon with specialty in shoulder surgery who agreed that I didn't need surgery. My pain is gone with simple injection and have complete use of my shoulder with physical therapy. Thank you Dr. Ward for storming out of the room, insulting my intelligent to compensate for poor… medical knowledge or worse operating on patients for no reason.

This is the guy who operated on you if you even don't need one. He told me that I need carpal tunnel surgery and can be done in few minutes as out patient. I was lucky to talk to one of his other patients who was not so fortunate. I went to another doctor in Fresno and was diagnosed with low thyroid function. I was back to normal with no surgery in few weeks. Get a second opinion if this guy wants to operate on you, better find another physician

Very grateful for Dr. Ward's expertise and kindness. Received most excellent care from him!!! THANK YOU Dr. Ward! My wrist is perfect now!!!! No more pain!
