There is no doctor like Dr. Appleton. He is devoted to his patients. He speaks with great precision, which reflects his approach to his work. But he speaks softly, with kindness in his voice, which puts you right at ease. He is respectful, encouraging, and relates to you as a person. He listens and explains. He has boundless patience and energy. He thoroughly examines the injury. He inspires trust and confidence in everything he says and does. In big and small ways, he gives 100%. And he never gives up on you.

My experience with Dr. Appleton has been wonderful. He has done 2 emergency surgeries on my leg and I was blessed that he was the trauma doctor assigned. He and his team are wonderful. They take the time to answer questions, explain in easy to understand terms and give encouragement. He also visited me everyday as an inpatient. During office visits, even with the Nurse Practitioner, he checks in to oversee that all is right. As a patient I really feel he has a vested interested in my recovery and provides positive feedback. During my appointment time, I certainly feel I am his priority and he does not appeared worried about anyone else. I can credit him with saving my leg. We need more like him.
