Dr. Abraham Cherrick, MD

In my 75 years, I have been to more doctors than I can count. Some good, some not so good. I have been a patient of Dr. Cherrick's for 14 years and I can say, unequivocally, that he is the best there is. Frankly, he has no equal. We have all been to doctors that make us feel like a part on an assembly line. Dr. Cherrick is definitely not one of them. He takes a genuine interest in each one of his patients. He is deeply concerned about their pain and how it impacts their daily lives. If you are new to the area and you are looking for a pain management doctor or you want to switch doctors, your search is over. Dr. Abraham Cherrick is the doctor you want. Dr. Cherrick and his staff are very knowledgable, professional and caring. I chose him to treat my chronic pain based on his excellent longterm experience and reviews and have never regretted that decision. The only reason i did not rate him a five is that it is exttemely frustrating to try to reach his office because the only option is to leave a message on the NSPC patient telephone service line. Over the past week i have left at least 8 detailed messages and actually talked to a human twice but have never received a callback. Twice i got through to a person but one of them never could fully understand my issue. I am going to try sending something via UPS or USPS because it is hopefully just a problem with the answering service.patient portal.

I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone could give this doctor or practice five stars. First off, he’s atleast an hour late to every appointment. Complete disrespect for his patients’ time and schedules. Second of all, he clearly has way too many patients in that he can’t manage to do his job properly anymore as a result. He didn’t review any of the medical notes he asked me to send before our appointment, thus wasting all of our time going over the same information as the previous appointment. How hard is it to take a few minutes to review your patients’ notes and charts. He then completely ignored what I said and began to lecture me about how difficult it is to treat me when I turn down all of his suggestions. I turned them down because I had already tried them and none of them worked, which he would’ve known if he read my chart ahead of time. The best he could do is up my dose on a medication I already told him didn’t help my pain and caused massive side effects. Yet… another Useless doctor who clearly has way too many patients on his hands and thus can’t do his job properly. He’s also very Unprofessional in the way he answers emails.

This guy is horrible. Couldn't even pretend to care about the pain I was in, and when his daughter came knocking on the door to ask for his help because SHE had to go to a doctor (hello, I'm at a doctor?!?!? Don't I matter?) he left the room and just left me there. So I got up and walked out. Mind you he still had the gumption to bill me 415 dollars for an incomplete visit. He's probably the worst doctor I've been to in my 45 years

Dr. Abraham Cherrick, is very caring and professional at the same time, he also listens to what his patients has to say. He aims at the root of the problem. The best Doctor that I have seen in along time. We need more doctors like him.

Dr. Cherrick discovered that I had differing view s than him on a touchy subject and he laid into me during our appointment and ended it abruptly. The next day receptionist called to say he ad to cancel next appointment and they would call back with a new appointment time. They never called, two weeks later I call back and they had no record of me in their system. No joke.

I have been a patient of Dr. Abraham Cherrick for over 10 year. I have always been able to communicate well with Dr. Cherrick as well as the PA?s. I?ve been through the toughest three years, my physical and emotional challenges were always well received by all physicians covering my care. Truly heartfelt practice and I feel blessed to be under their care. Thank You All Sincerely, *NAME*

I've been seen by a number of different Doctors/PA's since being diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis in 2005 and in light of my reluctance to have surg. on my spine ,NSPC helps me look alternatives to going under the knife which is my main desire in my current health status.I'm very satisfied with the care I get at NSPC.

This doctor is dangerous! He was about to give me three successive knee injections until I saw a knee specialist at the Anderson Clinic (Dr. Branche) who explain to me that the injections were useless. When I confronted Dr. Cherrick he told me that he knew they would not help but he said I insisted on having the injections (false). He tries to get you to do procedures without any medical reason. I have this documented and I want to pursue this matter because he will end up hurting someone.

I wemt to see h one ti.e amd he immediately assessed me even at being at the same dose he wanted to lower me a chronic pain patient with a lot of pain. Issues after six years on the same amount you'd be expected to go u p a few milligrams. Without knowing me for five seconds he told me developing pain from my pain meds. Stupid nut I said okay I agreed to a much much smaller dose amd took it to the pharmacy. They lost it amd he refused to just write a different acripti mine wasn't even filled yet. They can look up amd see if I was filed on their computer amd no pharmacist would legallg be able to fill the same script . He could care less if your pain makes you suicidal. To my husband he was very happy to offer him five times more than he needed . He has a thing against women I felt his treatment of me being a woma. Was why he was so abusive to me . He is a horrible doctor for wome. Don't go ever
