This young doctor was kind. He got me water. Helped me out of bed, educated Me about my condition. He was confident but humble. Not sure about those other reviews. Probably ex girfriends. Haha . This doc gets thumbs up! He works at St. Joseph's. Only place we go now.

Awesome. This doc took care of my wife, later my uncle, mom and brother. He was consistent, accurate and smarter than anyone doc any of us ever encountered. My mom, who passed away ultimately required transfer to the Icu, and Dr. Aguilar was there. She coded but he managed to let us say goodbye before intubating her and stabilizing her for the rest of our family to arrive. It was the hardest time in my life, and I don't know how we would have done it with out him. He worked late, on his days off and once brought in his daughter. I don't know. This guy was amazing. He told us each time, "I really like you guys, but don't ever come back needing our help!". Just a top notch doc. Never liked docs, until we met him. He was the chief of the hospital, and we heard he left which is huge loss to that hospital. Respect and thanks forever Dr. Aguilar.

Hard to believe this is a doctor

If you or your family is ever ill, go to northwest and request Dr. Aguilar. He is the Chief doctor there and you would never suspect he was even a doctor no less such an awesome one. I read reviews and the one star reviews made no sense, almost hypocritical. Either way, if you need a great doc, go to him. He also connects you with the best docs across city for whatever you need. He saved my mom, he connected my wife with a fabulous doc, and was just above and beyond what I expected any doc To be.

Wow. I was terrified. First time being hospitalized. Northwest was fabulous and all staff tried so hard to console my fears. I was seen promptly, different than anywhere I've been including urgent cares and my own doctors office. I was informed Dr. Aguilar was to be my doctor and staff raved of him. I see why now. When we met I thought he was there to transport me for a test, as he looks like a devilishly handsome college student. But he wasn't. I was embarrassed and scared. He sat down, introduced himself to me and my family. I've never seen a more caring doctor take time to gather all my history in such a precise and flattering manner. Not only did he diagnose my problems, he fixe me and took it a step beyond. He called my doctors when I left, made appointments for me and most of all made sure I understood everything that happened, and all I needed to know that gave me such security that I left this hospital feeling better than I did in my healthiest state. I've reviewed some other… comments about him and find any insults upon him as ridiculous. I wish I could have him all the time! He is apparently the chief there and I see why. A true gem. If your ever hospitlazed, and need a fabulous doctor in the Icu and while at northwest, request Dr. Aguilar. Amazing. He rejuvenated my optimism for healthcare as there are so many politics about medicine, he truly obliterated this stigma and gave me perspective on my health, and healthcare.

Dr. Aguilar is an excellent doctor. I think it's great that there are such wise caring doctors of his age out there. I felt I was thoroughly taken care of by him.

Most impressive physician I've had in all my 68 years. Medical expertise, and bedside manner are impeccable. Also very handsome!

I would not reccomend. Seems a little full of himself. Pretty young, yet already believes he knows everything.
