Dr. Abram Trevino, MD

From the 1st time I meet him he talked to me about my diagnosis for I could understand it. He didn’t presume that I knew about this type of cancer. He reassured me at every appointment that if we keep doing what we are doing for treatment the guidelines were promising. He understood my fears and anxieties. I love that he is my cancer doctor. And has remained my oncologist. You have to have some kind of trust in your doctor. I have that with Dr Trevino.

Since the first day that I met my Dr. Trevino I felt that he was very informative about my medical condition. He didn't go in circles he just explain to me my circumstances and I just followed his instructions. Thanks to my sons who asked to get a Dr. closer to us. I just want to Thank Dr. Trevino and his co-workers at this office for taking care of me and being patient with me. Medical Professionals need to be appreciated more. Dr. Trevino is a great doctor who cares for his patients. He takes the time to ensure you understand, while showing compassion that most medical personal lack. I have recently been told Dr. Trevino will be an "out of network". My husband and I have decided that I will stay on as his patient despite the cost----they don't get any better.

I was a patient of Dr. Treviño's for two years. While under his care my health improved dramatically; he saved my life and I will be eternally grateful to him. Dr. Treviño spends an ample amount of time in each appointment and really listens to your concerns. Dr. Treviño is a strong advocate for his patients; he even helped me get approved for a treatment my insurance would not cover. He explains treatment options thoroughly and makes an effort to actually know your history. I never felt like a number when he was my doctor. He is brilliant, caring, empathic, and hilarious. I recommend Dr. Treviño without hesitation. We are very fortunate that such a wonderful doctor is available in New Braunfels.

Dr Abram Trevino is not only very knowledgable, but he is very caring and empathizes with his patients. He takes all the time in the world to explain things and find out how you are feeling. He has a great sense of humor too.

Dr.Trevino is the most caring, kind and warm doctor I have ever seen. He has been treating my 92 year old mother-in-law and she has had several set backs. Dr. Trevino was there to help talk her through them and even hold her hand and hug her. He explains things to her and her family with the same courtesy.
