I suffered with terrible back pain for many years. A couple of different doctors told me there was really nothing they could do to relieve the pain other than pain medicine, which I did not want to be on long term. I was referred to Dr. Brandt and when I met him I immediately felt that he knew what the problem was and that he could genuinely help relieve the pain. He explained everything fully about the surgery I needed and was patient with all of the questions my wife and I had regarding what the surgery, the hospital stay, and the recovery period would entail. He and his staff were very professional and helpful. After my extensive lower back surgery was done, the only regret I had was that I waited so long. I would highly recommend Dr. Brandt for anyone that needs back surgery. It has been exactly one year ago today I had the surgery and I am still very grateful to Dr. Brandt and his staff. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

He has preformed two back surgeries on me within the last 9 years. Both had excellent recoveries and results. He takes the time to explain the procedures clearly and concisely and answers questions. I will always recommend him.

Great Dr. and surgical team. Caught problem with reaction to anesthesia and treated it immediately. Having great recovery from extensive neck surgery.

I saw Dr Brant for crippling arm pain caused by a pinched nerve in my neck. I was on pain killers that still left me with a pain level of 4-6 that could spike up to an 8-9. He was able to get me in quickly and the whole process was expedited because of the pain. I woke in the recovery room from surgery completely pain free. He genuinely cares about his patients.

I was at the point where I had pain 24/7. My right arm was numb and heavy. I had massive migraine headaches and was not able to sleep or function. My neck pain was unrelenting. After I had my cervical disectomy, C4-5, 5-6, 6-7, headaches were immediately gone. My neck felt so much better and the use of my right arm was back. I was able to recover and went back to work.

As a registered nurse, I am very selective when it comes to my health care providers. In 2010, I began experiencing excruciating back pain that radiated down my left leg. I was referred to Dr. Brant by a physician with whom I was working at the time. Dr. Brant was professional and straightforward. Dr. Brant performed a microdiscectomy and I was able to return to sit-down work within one week. He thoroughly explains your condition and the available treatment options. He does not recommend surgical intervention unless he feels the benefits of surgery outweigh the risks. Surprisingly, this is not the case with all surgeons. I would highly recommend Dr. Brant to anyone suffering from persistent back or neck pain.

Working as a Firefighter, I received a spinal injury and was told by an occupational doctor that my career was over. Needing a second opinion I went to see Dr. Brant. I had tremendous nerve pain and spinal cord intrusion before Dr. Brant’s treatment. Dr. Brant relieved me of ALL pain all the while securing my spine reducing further damage to my spinal cord. Dr. Brant was cautious in treating my herniated L4 disc. He tried steroids which greatly decreased the pain before deciding to perform surgery. I was in the hospital for one day and back home that evening. I'm extremely pleased with the results and highly recommend Dr. Brant.

I had been living in daily pain, with limited ability to walk. Doctor Brant quickly diagnosed my problems and we scheduled a surgery. I had very little pain after surgery and during recovery. Although recover has been slow, it has not been painful. I am so thankful to have this behind me, and the hope of returning to an active life ahead of me.
