Dr. Adam Seth Fenichel, MD

This was the most traumatic and worst doctor visit I had. My work comp set it up so I didn’t have a choice of who I saw but anyone would of been better than this doctor. Horrible bedside manner and treated me like I was incompetent. My fingers got injured a month ago and it’s been bad he came in bent my fingers looked at me and said you’re fine as I was shrieking in pain. Never would I recommend him to anyone. I hope someone comes for his license because you should never treat your patients this way.

I had a great experience with Dr. Fenichel. I was referred to his office due to a diagnosis of trigger thumb. He explained the options I had, and I decided to move forward with surgery. The surgery was well explained and it went well. I had minimal scarring so far and was able to bend my thumb right after surgery. His office staff and nurse (Roy) were so amazingly nice. Overall, I had a great experience with Dr. Fenichel!

As a letter carrier, I went to Jewett late 2018. Early 2019 I was diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel. Due to uncontrollable circumstances, I was not able to have the surgery on both hands until late 2019. Prior to having the surgery, I had filed a CA2 with my office as a Job Related Illness. I mentioned this on several accounts, verbally, and was never advised to take a different course of action or told to file Workers Comp with Jewett. I didn't file Workers Comp only because I wasn't familiar with the process and didn't need the Post Office to pay for the surgery since I already met my deductible. I eventually received a notice from the Dept.of Labor and they advised me that all they required in addition to the rest of the doctor's records was a statement on how he felt this was job related. Dr. Fenichel, REFUSED to document any such thing. REFUSED to explain how the diagnoses came about. Will not even state that the condition is caused by Frequent, repetitive motion of the hand or wrist.… His lack of action is costing me most of my Sick leave and I have an Austistic Epileptic daughter.

I was told to schedule an appt. first thing in the morning to get in and out. Tried this 3 times with the first appt. All 3 times I waited 30 minutes to an hour.

I have been seeing Dr Fenichel for about 2 years for a thumb problem. He has eliminated the pain with injections but I was no longer comfortable with getting the injections. I set up the surgery and was told I had to pay an additional amount which I did not mind paying. No one in the office could tell me why I had to pay this additional amount (I have insurance) but I agreed because I needed this done to alleviate the pain. I asked if they could break the amount up into 4 weekly payments and was told to call back and reschedule the surgery when the amount was paid in full. I trusted Dr Fenichel with operating on my hand and they can't trust me to pay (offered the auto withdraw). They would rather their patients to be in pain. They were getting several thousands of dollars from the insurance company and couldn't wait for a few hundred dollars. I have gone to a different doctor, one that is compassionate and cares about his patients.

Had an appointment with the doctor due to swelling in my hand. He suggested blood tests since he couldn't determine the cause of the problem. The tests were completed and he got the results. He didn't have the courtesy to contact me to discuss the results. I called his office twice to find out the results. He or his staff never called back!

Dr. Fenichel was thorough and solved my problem with the first visit. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Fenichel treated 2 yr old's broken leg and totally understood how kids heal and treatment required. We were referred to him by the first Dr. that recommended surgery typically used in adults. Glad we went saw Dr. Fenichel - no surgery needed - son healed fine. Took second child with broken elbow and third child w/ broken foot - over course of several years - Dr. Fenichel experience shines thru and he immediately understands kids bones & how to read an X-ray and Yes - I have very active children. First visit was in WinterPk with terrible wait but last visit was in Lake Mary - easy, little wait.

I saw Dr. Fenichel for frozen shoulder. I knew what my problem was, but I needed an official medical diagnosis and prescription for physical therapy. He did order x-rays, which were done very quickly. I also found them to be educational. As far as bedside manner, I found Dr. Fenichel to be very informative, and very direct, and he had a sense of humor, as well. I felt he spent an appropriate amount of time listening to me. He made eye contact, smiled, and there was nothing that I found objectionable about the appointment at all. Although I did not use their rehab services, I did receive a phone call offering to set up the appointment. I used a different type of therapy for my problem, for which there is only 1 certified specialist in Central Florida. However, I would go back to Dr. Fenichel if needed, and I would recommend him to others.
