I had asked another surgeon for the very best person he knows to resolve a problem I had. Dr Jacobson was the one he recommended. I was lucky enough to accept that recommendation. For an "out-of-state" patient this added a few layers of effort that were seemingly superfluous. Let me say they were more than worthwhile. To simply say the entire process was a success would not do full justice to Dr Jacobson's work, nor to the work of the NYU people that contributed to that success. Thank you, again. Very. Much.

Dr Jacobson is compassionate, very dedicated and passioned with his job, a fortune to be supported by his experience. A great human being.

Dr Jacobson came highly recommended and now I see why. He did an excellent job on my surgery which made recovery so much easier. He was so professional and everything with surgery ran so smoothly. He answered all my questions and the staff was so friendly and helpful the whole time. Can not say enough good things about him or his staff.

Dr. Jacobson is a great surgeon as well as a consummate artist in the field of facial reconstruction; he dealt with an extremely delicate surgery on my face and nose, requiring complex and extensive pre-op preparation, and the skill, care, compassion and consideration he demonstrated in all aspects of my medical situation - the clinical and the cosmetic - quite frankly left me in awe. He and his team were kind and caring at every point in my treatment and I – and my face - owe him a debt that can never, never be repaid. My gratitude is infinite and I can offer only the highest recommendation to this fine man and physician.

One of the most caring and kind hearted doctor I've meet..had thyroid cancer and he did an amazing job with my surgery, it was successful I had no complication. The incision site was remarkable, , you could hardly see my scar..Dr Jacobson did any amazing job, I highly recommend him to anyone..

I have just completed treatment for tongue and lymph cancer. From the moment we met him, Dr. Jacobson was calm, caring and didn't have the ego and attitude we have come to associate with doctors. He is well regarded by his peers. When it became necessary to have surgery to remove the residual neck mass, I felt like I was in good hands with him. The procedure turned out to be more complicated than originally thought, and he was meticulous - preserving nerve and muscle function that could have been lost. His team at Beth Israel - both in the office and O.R. are excellent.

The stress and uncertainty of surgery for my tongue cancer was 0% after meeting Dr. Jacobson. I did and still trust him with my life and never have a doubt that he is not doing the right thing for me. I owe him so many thanks and appreciation for choosing such a noble profession and being a shining example of what and how a doctor/surgeon should be.

Dr. Jacobson and his staff were professional, kind, and comforting. Dr. Jacobson performed a partial thyroidectomy on me; the scar is hardly noticeable, he explained everything so that I could understand it, and he was reassuring through the entire ordeal. I highly, highly recommend him.

Despite having to wait 30 minutes to see Dr Jacobson, the wait was well worth it. He performed a thyroidectomy and neck dissection on me for advanced thyroid cancer. The scar looks amazing! He was extremely professional and kind. His staff were amazing. I would strongly recommmend him to anyone who needs to be treated for thyroid cancer.

Dr Jacobson and his office provided me with a first class experience during a very difficult time for me. He treated me for thyroid cancer and performed a total thyroidectomy. The scar from the surgery is nearly invisible and I am now disease free. Thank you Dr Jacobson!
