Dr. Adam Marcus Lazzarini, MD

Dr.Lazzarini took on my case when no one else would. My pelvis and the head of my femur where disformed as a result of per these disease. I had the total hip replacement done about thirteen years ago and he did an amazing job. He is an amazing orthopedic surgeon, I just wish he was still in N.Y, as I need a few parts to be replaced that no one I have seen so far will do because of the risk involved. Parts go bad and recalls happen, not the doctors fault. If anyone reading this is thinking about selecting Dr. Lazzarini, DO NOT THINK TWICE about choosing him.

Full hip replacement. Conservative approach with full physical therapy post op. Was off pain meds very quickly after surgery. Walking the day after. Walking a block within 7 days. Post op visits were congenial. Much more relaxed that pre-op. Quality care.

Little waiting time, expert opinion, no rushed feeling, took as long as I needed and answered all questions and even had casual conversation. Pain management was handled. No complaints.

He is very knowledgeable and only wants the best for his patients. I trust him 100% and would refer any family member or friend to him which says a lot.

Dr Lazazarini did and excellent job with the diagnosis and surgery. Time he spend with patient and bed side manor has room for improvement, but I wanted a great surgeon not a best friend so this does not bother me. What is an issue was after surgery, both time I requested pain medication it took over a week to get prescription signed. Both times I went with out over a weekend. Not the best of circumstances after hip replacement surgery.

This physician did provide an injection for my hip pain but wrote me off well before I xane into his ofc. He told me right away if this injection and a radiological injection didn't work, "there was nothing else he could do for me." Further, his notes were kept private from me and only upon gaining those ftom my pcp, did I learn he blatantly LIED about his do-called advisement to me about "pain mgmt", a specific medication, and how I "refused a cane". Absolutely NONE of this was asked of me, nor expressed to me. I wouldn't recommend anyone to this physician. Ever.

Dr. Lazzarini is amazing. Excellent doctor took the time to explain everything, was treated as a person not just a client/patient or number. Highly recommend him.

If you are in need of immediate care and relief of pain Do Not I repeat Do Not go to this doctor. He also takes no time for you and blows you off , maybe if I had better insurance I would have gotten better care.

Wait time is too long. Very rude ppl in the office.

Dr. Lazzarini came very highly rated and was particularly praised for being such a nice guy. Perhaps it was just a bad day, but the man appeared to be brusque and borderline surly. He appeared impatient, failed to adequately address procedures he was to perform or treatment options, provided less than full explanations and misunderstood questions put to him, perhaps because he was not actually present in the room or listening to what was said to him. I think rude probably best sums up the situation. I am sure he is qualified and adequately trained, but he leaves much to be desired in the all important realm of bedside manner and patient (customer) relations. Although his treatment protocol was successful and I am pleased with the outcome, I will not be going back to Dr. Lazzarini for anything else.
