Dr. Adam L Palance, MD

Very quick endoscopy with very minor discomfort and no waiting. I was out of the hospital in an hour. Dr. Palance knows what he is doing, takes his time to explain things and most importantly he genuinely cares. He has been my dr for many years and hope to have him for many more.

We had a very positive experience with Dr. Palance after my husband's Colagard test came back positive. We were very upset and worried so we were given an appointment right away. Dr. Palance was kind, understanding and gave us his time, attention and emotional support along with a prompt colonoscopy appt. Fortunately he was right and it was negative. Subsequently my husband saw him for a complete exam and several tests regarding other GI concerns. At every meeting Dr. Palance was patient, attentive, kind, friendly and supportive of our concerns. He helped us get through a bad situation with his experience and expertise, but mostly because of his empathy and caring about his patients. He is the epitome of what a good doctor should be.

Read over 10 reviews posted about Dr. Palance. They were generally quite favorable so I decided to make an appointment. Will start with the cons. I only have one, it took 2 phone calls to get through to make the appointment. This frustrated me, but when I got to the office I saw why. The phones are ringing off the hook to see this doctor and his partners. While the office is super busy, there is a vibe of happily pleased patients. I enjoyed talking to one of the patients that was seeing one of doctor palances partners. She told me her husband sees him and he is very nice. Now for the pros. Very pleasant front staff. A young lady greeted me professionally and said the doctor would like me to fill out a summary of my medical history beforehand. It made sense and was easy to complete. After filling out this paperwork I was in an exam room in about 10 minutes and the doctor knocked on the door and arrived shortly afterwards. Dr. Palance listened to my story patiently and unrushed. He… was attentive and easy to talk to. He did suggest I undergo a procedure, which didn't thrill me, but I scheduled it and a small ulcer in my stomach was found. The ulcer was likely caused by the medications I use for my headaches and I am already feeling better on the "purple pill" I will be back and want to personally thank Dr. Palance and his courteous staff!

Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Palance. Listened to my complaints, ordered some tests and made a plan that worked for me. I felt very comfortable with the doctor and look forward to a repeat review after tests and procedures are concluded.

Misdiagnosed me, manipulated me to use their pharmacy for anibiotics $4000 a bottle I did not need, mis read endoscopy results, and all around DANGEROUSLY INCOMPETENT.

I had seen two other local gastroenterologists in Englewood and Hackensack. With each visit I left having more questions. Doctors seemed rushed and indifferent to my problems. I have disorder where I am bloated half the time and my bms shall we say stick to the toilet. After seemingly endless x rays, lab tests, breathing exams and endoscopies, I was left wondering what was next. After the last doctor performed a colonoscopy and said nothing was wrong with me, I decided to get, yet a third opinion. I was planning to cross the bridge and head to the city. A friend gave me the New York magazine where the "top doctors" are listed. I was surprised to see one in Teaneck NJ. So before heading to the city for yet another opinion, I saw dr. Adam Palance. Reviews online were good and I didn't have to wait forever for an appointment. The doctor was on-time, pleasant and seemed to care about my problem. He looked over all my paperwork, labs, tests and xrays and said I was a challenging case. … Really? but then he said he had an idea. He said I might have a problem where my pancreas isn't working perfectly well and that I could use enzymes to help my digestion. Well three weeks later my abdomen is much less bloated, my bowel habits are better and I feel pretty good. I am so happy that I feel better and have a wonderful new doctor that truly is a top gastroenterologist-Adam Palance

My wife told me I had to finally do my colonoscopy. As a 51 year old male, I was apparently a year behind schedule. She handed me the New York magazine that listed top docs. I live in Paramus and was surprised to see how few NJ doctors were in this magazine, but I found a local doctor in teaneck. He accepted my insurance and I made my appointment. I was nervous but he was pleasant and easy going. I thought Dr. Adam Palance did a great job convincing me to go ahead with the colonoscopy. Actually according to him I was 11 years behind schedule because my parents both had a history of polyps. So I arranged the procedure and it went well. I had only 2 polyps, and they were small and benign. You don't have to go to New York to see a top doc, there is one nearby in Teaneck NJ.

Had a relaxed consultation with my new doctor. Dr. Adam Palance made me feel very comfortable discussing my symptoms which were very embarassing. I have major issues with gas and flatulence. Not an easy thing to talk about as a 23 year old lady. However, he mentioned this is not uncommon and had some ideas about how to approach my problem. I have a couple of tests planned and I will be back to let you know how things turn out. But as a first time nerve wracking visit, it was really easy.

Dr. Palance is a true gem. He is pleasant and bright. My sister was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. I went to dr. Palance and we both agreed I should undergo a colonoscopy. He found and removed a giant polyp. I am so grateful to dr. Palance for making a very stressful situation easy, and for finding something and taking care of it for me.

I am a physician and I appreciate that Dr Palance isn’t only very personable, but he also explains things very well. He helped me out tremendously and I give him an outstanding recommendation.
