He listened to my concerns about my hand injury and was able to perform surgery and give me full use again.

Dr. Rives is a outstanding doctor.. He and his staff are awesome. I was referred to Dr. Rivas after being missed diagnosed from a Dr. in California. Dr. Rivas not only found the problem but did surgery right away to correct it. His bedside manner is very professional and one can tell he really cares about his patients.

I met Dr. Rives for the first time today. My shoulder pain has increased for the past several months. My general doctor had ordered an MRI which showed a bad tear of a shoulder tendon. I was afraid surgery was a sure thing and Dr. Rive's reviews were less than stellar so I was apprehensive. The staff were absolutely great!! Very friendly, upbeat, positive, reassuring and patient. Dr. Rives put my worries at ease instantly taking all the time I needed to explain my condition. He administered a painless cortisone injection and prescribed six weeks of physical therapy to strengthen shoulder muscles to relieve the pain so surgery will hopefully not be necessary. I appreciate the conservative approach and the great personal treatment I received from the doctor and his staff. I would recommend Dr. Rives for any upper extremity medical problem.

Dr took time to explain options , made me feel I had a choice. Very good result with surgery. Friendly doctor and staff.

THis was a BAD experience. this Dr (if that is an appropriate description) is useless. Go elsewhere!!!!!
