Dr. Silverman injected Botox and fillers in my face. A few days passed, and I saw that one side of my face was significantly more swollen than the other. I looked lopsided. I called the office to express my unhappiness at the result of the doctor's work, and asked to see the doctor that day. He was completely booked and that was understandable. I expected that I would receive a follow up call from either the doctor or his staff to find out the cause of my distress. No one reached out to me. I then called again, and not only was I still upset at the way I looked, but I also complained about what I thought was negligence - complete lack of interest over why a patient might be expressing dissatisfaction with the results of cosmetic procedures. I finally called again, and was treated to a lecture by a staff member, who told me it was MY responsibility contact the doctor, not the other way around. I finally did get to have Dr. Silverman examine my face, and he showed me a picture from a… year ago, demonstrating that my face had the same dissimilar swelling. Number 1, the swelling now is more egregious and I did not look like this before the procedure and 2, more importantly, I felt put on the defensive by the doctor and his staff, rather than being shown concern for my discomfort. Let's blame the victim. I will never see this doctor again, and will not recommend him to anyone.
