This man shouldn't be allowed to practice medicine. What should have been one surgery lead to 6 surgeries and a life threatening infection that I had to do home infusions for close to 5 months. And according to him everything that went wrong was my fault. I should have ran when I had my first appointment. There was someone right outside my room talking to Smith. This person was in tears, his answer to whatever she was saying; I can fix bodies not stupidity. What kind of comment is that for a professional??? I was concerned about something; when I asked him he told me 'that's neither here nor there.' He didn't even bother to check for infection. As a result of trusting him I'm permanently disfigured with emotional scars that may never go away.

Dr. Smith did an excellent job on my procedure he followed up answered all my questions I recommend him For anything that you need done he has a wonderful bedside manner and very polite and takes his time to explain and answer any questions you may have

He BOTCHED my surgery from Day 1. I TRUSTED HIM 100 PERCENT. He put my expander in wrong on one side. I told him I was in Sever Pain. He said it shouldn't be that Bad! He then had to put a plastic lift in. Again the pain was Unbearable. Everytime I moved my arm, I felt cutting. Told this (Dr.) about this. Nothing wrong and carry on.The day he removed the lift, IT CUT ME TO THE BONE!!! He should NEVER BE ABLE TO DO THIS TO ANYBODY ELSE!! That was year's ago. Now I have an infection in breast. And Suffering from his Absolute Disregard of The Doctor's Oath!! Dr. Pain is more fitting. PLEASE FIND A PLASTIC SURGEON; ANYONE, BUT HIM!! TAKE HEAD!

My first visit is when I should have run. He was arguing with a patient or family member of a patient. This woman was in tears. his comment to her "I can fix bodies not stupid" I had nothing but problems. After the first surgery I saw him a week later, my nipples were necrotic, which according to him was my fault, he scheduled a 2nd surgery where he removed the dead nipples and did a skin graft (he took the donor skin off a leg that has phlibitis, so those veins were already compromised) to close the wound. My followup appt was a week later, and ya the graft was necrotic. A third surgery was scheduled to clean and close (My fault again). Before the 3rd sugery came the dead graft started smelling like something died, ya it did but I smelled like the walking dead. I called his office and his nurse told me he was in surgery and she couldn't contact him, he didn't answer a previous text about another patent. I had to tell her to send him a message to see if he would get back. If he… didn't answer that day it would be a week before she could get back to me because she was going on vacation. Several hours later I got a call from his nurse, he fianlly answered. She said that his instructions were for me to use a mixture of half bleach half boiled water to pack the area(s) several times a day. *Note, the skin graft was barely stapled down, most staples were not even on the graft* The third surgey, he removed the dead graft and stapled the insision closed. This left open areas that leaked really bad. I refused to see him again. I called the office to cancel my followup appt, they refused to cancel. I told them I would not be in and I better not be charged for a missed appt. The Dr I went to for care found a really nasty infection. This resulted in another hospital stay, inserting a PICC line for home infusions of an antibiotic. And inserting a drain tube. It took 6 months for this infection to go away. I had ended up with a seroma in the breast that this infection grew in. This eventually landed me with another surgery because a rock hard formation grew in that area. The excellent surgeon I picked went in to remove the hard formation and cleaned the area with antibiotic wash. He also removed quite a bit of scar tissue from the first 3 surgeries. Almost a year later I've finally healed, but one side is much larger, the smaller side is not uniform, its flat on one side. I've lost faith in plastic surgery, so I have to live with what is left. Through all my appointments with smith I was told "That's neither he nor there" "It is what it is" 'It's something you've done" "Its something in your enviroment" I can only hope there are no future problems. My suggestion about smith...STAY AWAY!

He is a butcher! Please pay a little bit more he deformed me and believe me I am not the only one with bad results do not be one more on the list with bad results thanks to this guy

I have been in pain ever since letting him touch me. I look horrible ,feel horrible, and didn't have aftercare or wound care. He blew me off said Its better than what it was. Well at least before I wasn't in pain daily! The former CEO was no help at Tri state and didn't care anymore than this dr.
