Dr. Adam Steven Splaver, MD

I've been to dozens of doctors in the last few years and this was by far the worst. Another doctor referred me to a cardiologist to rule out heart complications related to a condition that I have. Dr Splaver spent less than ten minutes with me and ordered extra tests without explaining why. He refused to send the results to my doctor and it took over a month until I could finally get them to her. The follow up appointment was a complete waste of time. He walked in, handed me a stack of papers and said that all the tests were negative and then walked out. He did not go over them with me or give me the opportunity to ask questions. These weren't major tests - most doctors would've given the results over the phone - especially if there was nothing to discuss. It was a complete waste of time and money. Turns out he made a mistake and the tests weren't negative either.

Dr Splaver is a very caring and he does some great work. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication.

There are not enough words to describe Dr. Splaver. He cared about my husband as a patient in a way that no other doctor ever had. He took the time to listen to his symptoms, his medical history, what *I*, the spouse, had to say. And went above and beyond to try to help. My husband's problem ended up not being cardiovascular, but neurological, which was a discovery made by Dr. Splaver - a cardiologist!!! A discovery that all of our previous NEUROLOGISTS could not make! And it's because Dr. Splaver would NOT give up on us. He called all of his neurological associates on their CELL PHONES while we were in the appointment with him to get us answers and quick appointments with them. He has since followed up with us even though my husband is no longer a patient of his. He is SO caring, SO communicative, SO caring. Unfortunately, we have seen a LOT of doctors over the last few years. And they should all take a lesson from Dr. Splaver. I will never forget what he did for us and how we were… treated along the way! Forever grateful!!!
