Dr. Adam James Susmarski, DO

I was frustrated with my chronic pain and inability to return to exercise. I almost gave up after taking numerous days off work traveling to multiple large hospitals recommended by friends and family when my therapist recommended I see, Dr. Adam. I expected more of the same and being told there's nothing he could do to help me which couldn't have been further from the truth. He had reviewed my prior records and had suggestions for other imaging and treatment options with his ultrasound machine thing. He showed me right in his office where my pain was coming from and through Team work with my therapist I am the best I've been in a long time. So thankful to my therapy team for connecting me with him.

I saw Dr Susmarski for my Achilles tendon. He was very nice and friendly! He did an ultrasound and explained the diagnosis thoroughly to me. He gave me multiple treatment options. He made sure all my questions were answered and gave me a plan to follow up. I have recommended him to all my coworkers, family and friends!

Took 4 weeks to even get in. I was in severe pain with stabbing down my leg, couldn’t stand up straight etc. Visit was a nightmare. Brought my husband with me as had never had a cyst or back problems before. Cyst was never mentioned. Appt very quick and Dr acted like he couldn’t get the appointment over fast enough. Talked very fast with a memorized narrative. He asked what treatment I wanted, not what he would recommend. Injection appt was made. I asked next day about cyst and was informed my appt was canceled and I was no longer his pt. In clinical notes accused me of unprofessional behavior towards his nurse! Huh??? Husband really angry when reading notes. This guy gets glowing reviews but be careful… he picks and chooses his pts. He also wanted me to have a certain kind of PT. Went to one appointment and was in worse pain than before. I was told by a surgeon that type of PT should not be done with a cyst. I would actually say I was emotionally traumatized. My husband and I got… in car and asked each other “what the heck just happened” I did write the clinic to make them aware. This guy is full of himself. I felt I deserved an apology. Yeah right…..

Hands down the best experience in a medical office. Caring, thoughtful, attentive, and knowledgeable.Recommend to everyone I know.
