Dr. Addie Dissick, MD

I will never ever recommend this Dr. Addie dissick to anyone. she treated me for something which I never had. she gave me injections and medication for 8 years that wasn't required. she literally ruined my life. Please don't ruin anyone else life.

I am writing this to dissuade anyone from using Dr Dissick. I began visit by explaining I needed med for osteoporosis and wanted to discuss back arthritis and arm pain. While she was detailing the side effects of the recommended pill, I started to interrupt her to say I was interested in the infusion. She said, “I am speaking. Do not interrupt me. You will have your chance to speak when I am finished.” When I asked her if there were any other options to that med, she said, “You can decide not to take it and risk breaking your bones.” When I asked if there were any exercises I could do to strengthen my arm she quickly demonstrated a few. I then asked her for a printout and she said, “I just showed them to you!” I am 77 years old and did not appreciate being treated like an unruly child who was wasting her time. Her constant smile did not mask her indifference and rudeness. Most of her 5 star ratings from Healthgrades are from Jan 2024. How can this be? Find another rheumatologist.

My recent visit to Dr. Addie Disick was nothing short of a nightmare. First and foremost, Dr. Disick was an entire hour late for our appointment. When she finally arrived, her demeanor was shockingly rude and unprofessional. Rather than addressing my concerns and questions, she dismissed them outright. Her attitude was condescending, and it was clear she had no interest in providing me with the care and attention any patient deserves. To make matters worse, when I presented her with the blood tests and results from other doctors, she rudely referred to them as "garbage." This kind of disrespect towards fellow medical professionals and their work is unacceptable. It left me questioning her ability to provide competent and comprehensive medical care. Overall, my experience with Dr. Disick was extremely disappointing. Her lack of professionalism, respect, and basic courtesy was appalling. I would not recommend her to anyone seeking medical attention. There are plenty of other… professionals out there who genuinely care about their patients and their time—Dr. Disick is certainly not one of them.

Thank Goodness for this Doctor who prefers to look at a whole picture in regards to systemic issues. Not treated separately

Dr.Dissick is very thoughtful after listening for as long as I need to speak. She takes in all i say, and then discusses with me the changes she would like to make to my medication. She always asks if I understand the changes and the reasons why. I can always discuss any and every thing with Dr. Dissick. She is the best thing that has happened to me since my doctors at Memorial Sloan Kettering. She is so smart. Everyone in the local area should go to see her.

I saw Dr. Dissick as a rheumatologist in her previous practice. I have seen dozens of drs. And she is among the best. Smart, knowledgable, caring, efficient.

I dont know who those previous reviewers went to but she is not certified in rheumatology only internal medicine. I also waited 45 min even though there was no one in the office. Her pager buzzed to alert her that our 15 min was up. I am glad her practice went out of business.

I loved my experience with Dr. Dissick. First of all, she listens! She was very thorough and actually cared about what I was saying. A major change compared to other Florida doctors! I cannot believe anyone would say anything different! I never felt as confident that I was in good hands and receiving great care!

To sum it up, she is a quack. Her inexperience as a healthcare professional and with "real life" medicine is quite evident once you meet her. She may be good at ordering labs and writing prescriptons, but your meeting with her will likely be one-sided. She seems to not respect or have interest in what the patient asks or says. She is like a robot and a nasty one at that. Don't let your parents see her if you love them. Save your money if it is for yourself.

I haven't met/experienced a doctor as caring, warm, thorough, professional as I was lucky enough to find as a new patient with Dr Dissick. I was in pain for month's needlessly. My hands & knee's let me feel human again. Can't thank her enough
