Dr. Adeel N Khan, MD

Dr. Khan is a very thorough caring physician. He performed emergency eye surgery as soon as he could to save the sight in one of my eyes. I will be forever thankful!

I had met Dr. Khan previously with my mother in law for consult for her macular degeneration. He was gracious and patient with her in explaining her condition. Took time with her and had a wonderful bedside manner. I was impressed then and when I was referred to him I was impressed again. I am a nurse and have met many doctors in my profession and as a patient. He is very professional and takes time to educate the patient about their diagnosis. So glad he returned to this area to practice!

I feel blessed to have found Dr. Khan and have transferred my care over from another retina specialist. His technique for injections are quick and painless to a point that I did not EVEN know when he was done. He took his time explaining the details of my retinal condition which is wet macular degeneration. He explains the pictures taken at the clinic and shows to me before and after improvement. Dr Khan exudes confidence, professionalism and congeniality. His personality is upbeat and sense of humor is unmatched. There is a reason his staff members enjoy working with him. I was a patient of Dr. Khan awhile back when he was at a different practice. I was very impressed with him then and when he told me that he was leaving that practice and this area I was quite disappointed. Then a little more than a year later I was told that he is returning to this area and would working there where I was presently going. Dr Kahn is an outstanding Dr. He has treated my 90 year old mother’s macular degeneration this past year. He is always patient, pleasant and kind. He explains the procedure he is doing and what to expect in simple terms. We have been very fortunate to have had such an exceptional Dr!!

Losing sight is one of the most horrifying conditions one can go through. Over several years of being diabetic I had lost vision due to bleeding in the left eye. I was extremely scared when I went to the clinic to see Dr. Khan but after speaking with him, he had addressed all my fears and answered all my questions. He placed me at ease by going through the process step by step. Surgery was painless and I could see literally the next day! I couldn't keep my excitement so tears were just running when the bandage came off! He has superb bedside manners and now I am on a mission to keep my A1c under control and lose weight. I was referred to Dr. Khan for Macula on Retinal Detachment on a Friday. When most people are finishing work and going home to their families, Dr. Khan stayed over and explained everything in detail and placed me at ease for something so frightening. He scheduled the surgery on Friday night and then opened his office on Saturday for post op check. I have two young kids and today I am able to see them because of the work of this wonderful and miraculous surgeon. I can't thank you enough!
