Dr. Adekunle Olumide Bamgboye, MD

RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN! If he is assigned to you as your hospitalist at HCA NW Regional Hospital, demand to be reassigned to Dr. Baksh or a different hospitalist. It is shocking that Dr. Bamgboye is even licensed to practice medicine. He is insolent, ignorant (the staff and nurses clearly have no respect for him - they can't even hide it on their faces). We have had 2 hospital stay encounters with him as a hospitalist for our father. He dropped 5 medications from his discharge orders without consulting anyone - even after my sister spent hours reconciling the incorrect HCA NW list from a prior stay with Dr. Baksh. We asked for him to add back the medications he removed in error, as did the charge nurse (after explaining how long Dr. Baksh worked to correct the hospital's incorrect records) and he refused to do so. There is nothing worse than ineptitude coupled with arrogance. On a prior stay he discharged our father with his glucose through the roof (due to feeding him on a continuous… feed through a peg tube that was a result of the hospital keeping him on a ventilator too long while they waited for an MRI) with a brand that is total garbage - water, corn syrup solids and canola oil are the 1st three ingredients. He didn't see an issue, even though our father has NEVER had elevated glucose in his life - Dr. Bamgboye needs a Nutrition 101 course, and should have his license removed. The entire staff at the hospital would celebrate, and patients would be safer for it!
