Dr. Adib Kassas, MD

Misdiagnosed me and gave me medications that made my disorder worse. Consistently asked about my toxic family who were also his patients.

This pompous jerk only cares about himself and what benefits him. In a crisis situation we were experiencing, he was assigned to our child. He refused to listen to anything we had to say, said all the extremely abnormal issues our daughter suddenly started exhibiting was normal teen behavior (it wasn't!) and told us he allowed his children to drink and use drugs in his own home, as if his twisted comparison to his rearing of children justifies suddenly abnormal behavior in someone else's child. Then he told us we treated our daughter like a third world country government treats its people! This man should not have a medical license and should not be providing care to anyone.

My adult handicapped daughter is his patient. She suffers from schizophrenia, physical rage, depression etc. In his meetings with her 15 mins., hethinks he is properly diagnosing her jockying her meds. He advocated for committing her involuntarily because her staff at the group home could not handle her. I asked if a physical condition may be putting her body under stress thus bringing on her mental conditions. He would not even consider having a neuoroligist examine her. In a conference call he screamed at me saying that he did not have time to do this. Arrogance at it finest.!!!!!!

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone! He was impatient with my autistic son, cruel in his verbal exchange with myself and my son's special education teacher, and highly unprofessional! I was told to take my son home with me, during a psychiatric crisis, and that what I could do, was to "lock him up, and never let him out!" He walked out of the room, and never returned, leaving me to take my son home with no support. I wouldn't entrust my dog to this man! The only reason I give him 1 star is because you cannot submit a review without selecting a rating...if 0 was an option, that's what I would give him!

I have been with Dr. Kasass for ten years now and I am very grateful for all his willingness to listen to me and trust my opinions. I consider him a friend as well as a good Dr.

Great doctor

Very patient and knowledgeable. He cares very much about the patient including the family. Highly recommended. Dr. Kassas helped my granddaughter with her depression by the correct diagnosis and prescribed a safe medicine. My granddaughter is back to normal and so is our family. Thank you.

When faced with the prospect of putting my son on a very strong medication, he answered every single question fully and did not write a prescription until he was sure that we were all on the same page. He treats my non-verbal son with respect and doesn't ignore him, and shares with me the improvements he notices. Very respectful of my opinion and very reassuring. Will not push medications. Very gentle, and strong. My son flipped out for an hour and he was not stressed out by it the least bit (and neither was the staff).
