Very insensitive when it comes to mental health issues. Brushes off some of your complaints and barely gives you any time to speak to her

I was a patient at this clinic for about a year. The staff is horrendous. I have had several instances of attempting to make appointments and the receptionist will allow the phone to ring until it finally just disconnects you. If you're lucky the voicemail box will tell you it's full. I would physically have to take myself to the clinic to set up appointments. Even with appointments, checking in at least 20 minutes early, I would still wait at least an hour past my scheduled appointment. The staff claims that Dr. Pinkas is so thorough with her patients the wait times stacks. All I hear is poor time management. She's nice enough for a doctor and sure sent me to go get a plethora of tests done that I didn't need. Luckily, I have healthcare. I once asked staff if they could verify if something was covered under my insurance and they said they couldn't help me. BE CAREFUL! They won't check to see if you'll be charged for a test and just give it to you. I was lucky enough that… everything was covered but when I saw my bill that my insurance had to pay... I can't imagine how horrible it would be for a low income family to get slapped with that sort of financial burden because an office couldn't go out of their way to take care of their clients. Don't go here. You'll never get an appointment and they don't value your time.
