For Adjoa Ofori, the most satisfying part of her role as a board-certified family nurse practitioner is educating people about how to take charge of their health and working alongside them in reaching their desired outcomes. She is compassionate and diligent with clients as she takes the time to help them understand their health conditions. She sees chronic conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes as puzzles that may be solved with a team approach to care. Adjoa has more than 17 years of registered nurse experience and nine years of experience as a nurse practitioner. She treats all ages but particularly enjoys motivating her teenage clients to be empowered about their health and become the best versions of themselves.
Prioritizing time with family is a big part of Adjoa’s care plan for herself. She strives to exercise regularly and enjoys cooking healthy meals for her husband and three children.
