Dr. Adrian Chad Buckner, MD

He closed and did not inform us. The only way we discovered that he was no longer in business - when we had to refill a prescription. No one could contact him or his office and the phone was disconnected. Now, a patient is without her medication (which cannot be stopped immediately) simply due to the failure of a courtesy call and/or letter. A formal complaint will be placed against this doctor. Many more need to do the same and I hope that his license will be pulled.

I never leave reviews, but Buckner is the worst! Monthly appointments for 30 seconds tops just to get my meds. You could tell he didn't really care and just prescribed whatever and kept changing it slightly to keep you coming back instead of actually working on what might work best for you. He sent me to collections for one $50 visit that didn't get paid for a couple months. By the time I got a warning it was already to late, even though I left a message and was actively trying to pay it. Nobody ever answers the phones, there's no online option for scheduling or paying. They would only call once and if I messed it they would just never speak to me again unless I left another message(which they say not to do on their answering machine). The dude is nothing but a drug dealer and a thug. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

New doctor for me relative to having been with my former doc 20 years. So there was an adjustment period- different approach. I believe he has my best interest in hand.

Worse doctor I ever seenm

i went to see dr Buckner for depresion and anxiety. he gave me medicine and told me to prepare to sleep for 2 days. he told me he would keep me out of the hospital. on that visit he gave me abillify and another med and and i couldnt sleep or hardly walk. i went for the third visit and at which time he ask if i needed to go to the hospital. i refused and came home. at that time i was in such terrible shape i begged him for help and he told me again to go to the hospital. i was in such bad shape by that time i i wasn"t able to do do anything. i was in such fear of going to the hospital everytime i thought about it. so now i am trying to find someone to help. hopefully i have found one in Johnson city.i hope it turns out to be be better than Dr. buckner.

Thorough evaluation, provided excellent feedback and taught me quite a bit about myself. I highly recommend (unless you want a benzo - he doesn't do that).

This dr spent 7 minutes with my son...ask him "do you think you need medication". Told him he needed to control his anger and not to make a fool out of him and go out and get in fight or hurt someone. A week later, my son was in jail for assaulting someone. I waiting 3 months to see this person. There is no care by this Dr....as he said "he doesn't like throwing medication at the situation"....maybe he should consider evaluating the entire situation instead of just discarding it.

This Dr. was the rudest, most arrogant person I have ever met. He is very unprofessional and talked to our family like we were dogs! I would NEVER recommend him!
