He wasn’t helpful at all! I’ve been seeing him for years and he’s just gone downhill and doesn’t seem to care about his patients anymore and he doesn’t listen to them. He’s a big disappointment. He could do better.

I was sent a bill by mail and two texts to my phone for a 50 dollar bill. I've Never seen this doctor nor have I Ever neet this person. When I called about it the person who answered the phone was Very Rude. And inappropriate. Yelling at me over the phone, calling me a liar saying I never cancelled a appointment. All because they dudnt bother to check their voice mails. And couldnt be bothered to answer their phone calls. I Will Never Use This Doc.

My 85 year old mother is still in Tomball Regional (2 days) and we are still waiting for this doctor to come see her!! No communication or visit.

This doctor I would not recommend to my grandmother or any other family member. He refused to give my daughter her seizure medication while in the hospital. He also released her without actually seeing her even when family requested he do so and do additional blood work to check her medication levels. She was have seizure like symptoms and I her mother inquired as to why she wasn't given her medication and why he would not check her levels or her before discharge. He refused according the nurse at Tomball Regional. He never spoke to me personally before discharge. I immediately drove here to Houston Methodist. She was admitted a short time later in Houston Methodist Hospital, Houston, Texas and within 24 hours was heavily sedated in ICU on Ventilator where she eventually recovered in less then a week. This is currently under investigation by the Texas Board of health. I have not received the results as of today but I am waiting patiently as he and Tomball Regional should be held… accountable. The charts and test will tell what really happen.

Took my mom to him for her dementia. We did every test he asked for. After all that, all he said was she needed a cpap machine for her mild to moderate sleep apnea. He did not even approach ways to slow down or combat her dementia!

I absolutely love the way he just calls it like it needs to be. No beating around the bush. I also really appreciate his conservative approach to my nerve issues. He has been treating my sleep apnea for 3 years now, and it is the best thing I ever did getting a CPAP. Everytime I go to the office, the wait is minimal. Glad I have him, very comforting

A very caring doctor.

My husband has Chiari and we have always struggled with Neurologist. Mainly they just brush him off because they are not familiar enough with Chiari and they always seem to be above everyone and try to push everybody out the door. That is not what we experienced with Santamaria he was very positive, listened to everything we had to say and ordered every test we were hoping for before we even asked. We were very pleased with him. He was very polite and seemed to be concerned. We didn't have to wait very long to see him either.

Excellent Doctor and staff. Have been a patient for about 10 years . Seizures are contained with proper medication.

Dr. Santamaria is very personable and will spend the time needed to consult with you. He asks good questions, and even though my son just needed preventative checkup and nothing major had to be changed, I was very happy with his care. His staff is FANTASTIC! They have gone out of their way to help my son get his medication, even after we had a lapse in insurance and he was waiting to get an appointment with Harris Health Gold Card system. Dr. Santamaria and staff are one of the best you can find!
