Dr. Adriana Mary Pinkowski, DO

I have been having a lot of issues with my period and I have been seeing her about it. She told me to try metformin and it wasn't working so I was told to stop taking it. When I went in for a follow up appointment to figure out a plan of action to help me it was a mess. She wanted to put me on birth control even tho I have already had my fallopian tubes removed. Then she suggested a few other things that I have tried in the past and they didn't work and then she wanted to do an ablation which I was not comfortable with. She asked what I suggested and I told her a hysterectomy and she laughed and said no I won't do that and didn't even explain. So I told her I would find another dr. Like she doesn't care about how you feel or what you are going thru. I wish Mehall would just come back. She was the best.

I was treated VERY poorly by the office staff. I, myself, work in a doctor's office as an MA and was amazed at the way I was treated over the phone, especially being a new patient and I was scheduling an urgent appointment for something very serious. The doctors I work for would never put up with or tolerate any of his employees treating patient's that way. The girl who I spoke to over the phone was very rude and had an attitude from the start. I was calling from work and I had stepped outside to make my appointment because my primary care doctor had called me about 5 minutes prior and told me I need to make an appointment with an OBGYN ASAP and with working in a doctors office myself, I have no other time to call and schedule appointments other than when I am at work, because I work the same office hours as other offices. The girl told me she needed my social security and insurance information in order to make my appointment. I gave her my social security number and then I said I… apologized, I was at work and I was grabbing my insurance card out very quickly. Which would take me less than a minute. While I am still on the phone, she proceeds to begin talking about me to whom I am assuming is another coworker and I was able to hear her loud and clear. She was talking about the fact that I am calling from work and did not have my insurance ready. I understand I could have been a little more prepared, but I was caught very off guard and was shaken up by my PCP's phone call and I was just trying to get in somewhere ASAP. And with working in a doctor's office myself, patient care is our number one priority and our receptionists are the face of the office. I will never be coming to this office, I am very dissatisfied with the way I was treated.

I had a problem on the weekend and Dr. Pinkowski called me back within 5 minutes of my call on a Sunday morning. I found her to be right on top of everything.

I wish I had read all of these reviews before I just got surgery with her yesterday....

I saw her as part of routine during the last weeks of my first pregnancy, I was to meet all three doctors. I was in for blood pressure, headache and abnormal back pain. I am overweight to begin with, and never have experienced back pain up until that week. She brushed it off, saying the headache was caused by my back issues, and my BP was fine. She also calling me fat in the process, and sent me on my way. I ended up going to L&D after talking to MY doctor and was induced that night. The back pain was a side effect from my daughters position, but the headache was an indicator of pre-e. I will never go to her again. She has terrible bedside manners and is just not a nice person.

She is very condescending and inconsiderate. I would never trust her as my OB. I don't think she realizes that part of being a physician is trying to build trust, and being courteous to your patients. She chose the wrong profession.

She will shame you for having a past drug history. She hinted that I might struggle with abstinence and go back to using drugs, despite the fact that I've been clean for over 6 years, and that I've stopped smoking cigarettes and stopped taking my ADD medication during my pregnancy. Her judgmental tone and the things she said to me made me cry for hours after my appointment. I wish it wasn't so late in my pregnancy, otherwise I would switch doctors.
